I am a TA and this is one of the reasons that I advertise to use a TA; Sitting on the phone with Disney for 2+ hours. Still waiting...

Some people need to book early and that is where (I am a TA) come into play. I sit on the phone for the entire day Plus, they dont pay me to book their reservation (I dont charge a service fee).

I am glad that you were able to book today and got what you wanted.

Huh, I called around 9 and got right through--but I just did Room Only. Too weird. OTOH, I still can't get anything to work online. Maybe it's cause I'm on vacation browsing with my tablet.

So I at least booked a deal.

After 1+h i hung up. Rebooked online, will have to call in later to check for PIN and cancel the second reservation. I was surprised that they let me book 2 with the same people in the group.

waited 1hour and 15 min. I wish you could do MORE online! I booked last week with the Visa discount, and when I went online today, the room I booked was a deeper discount, 160, instead of 185. So I booked it online, and had to call to cancel the original. I wonder if others who booked early with the visa discount should doublecheck their rates?!
I think they should put more staff on the first few days of a promotion.

I spoke with one of the res reps today and she advised me that they all work o/t hours today. She is working from 8:00am - 11:00pm tonight. I just think there are so many people calling in-think about all of us TAs calling for our clients and then guests calling in to make their own reservations and also guests with reservations making changes. I cant imagine how many calls they are taking today

It was actually much easier than I expected. I waited about 15 minutes around 11am when I booked my RO, then a few minutes ago I got right thru when I was debating changing resorts.

I called right at 7am and had my discount within 6 minutes. I called back about 7:45 and that time it took about 15 min of being on hold. Odd how it seems I got through while others here were on hold.

Wow, I certainly feel everyone's pain here!

Don't know if I should even post this, but I called around 1 PM eastern time and had zero wait. I was shocked! Had no trouble getting exactly what I wanted as we were not booking one of the most popular resorts. The CM I spoke to was also surprised that my call went right through as she said they were crazy busy all day.
