Anyone else NOT want summer to end?

The thought of cold weather, bare trees, brown grass and snow makes me sick. I don't need it to be in the 90's every day, but I want it to be warm and sunny as long as possible! I can't believe summer is almost over.

True, we did just have a pool installed and I want to get more use out of it! I want to move because I'm getting old, (okay, I'm already old), and each year I hate the cold weather more than the year before.

I do love our house and pool, so if I could only figure out some way to pick them up and slowly move them closer to a warmer climate...

I'm funny about the cold weather. I do not like being cold, but I like snow. Basically, it means that I want it to snow in winter as long as I don't have to go out and deal with it. Don't want to drive in it even though I grew up in snow, so I know how to drive in it, or at least used to.

I can't wait for it to end. Not a big fan of summer. My favorite season is the fall.

Well, let's see, earlier this year I became eligible to join the AARP club!

The sooner winter and snow get here the happier I will be. I am usually very grumpy during the hot summer months and it gets worse when Aug Sept roll around and my allergies really kick into high gear.

I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate fall. It's my absolute least favorite season. Rather than seeing the "beautiful colors", all I see is that everything is dying. I don't decorate with the stupid haystacks, mums, indian corn and the rest of that junk...really couldn't care less about Halloween....

I even prefer winter over fall (even though I hate being cold) because at least then the "death" is over and the "rebirth" is right around the corner.

My favorite seasons, in order, are spring, summer, winter, fall.

Oh, did I mention I hate fall?
