Anyone Else Not Get Ressie Confirmations?

I booked rooms on an AP rate for the last week of Oct about a month ago (the day the rate came out). So far I have received no mailed confirmation. In the past I have always received a confirmation a week or so after my reservation. They are paid in full, but I still haven't received anything. Should I be concerned? Anyone else in the same boat?

We did not get our confirmation letter, nor our confirmation kit...luggage tags, vouchers, etc. for our July vacation. We had booked the vacation 40+ days in advance.


We did get a welcome postcard and a planning package from our resort, so I knew that we were expected. But to us the confirmation package is part of the excitement.

As time got closer I called WDW, and after speaking to a few people, they express mailed(4 business days) us our confirmation.
You may want to call them to confirm.

Try calling CRO again. I did it many times and never got my confirmation. When I showed up at the WL this past August I complained again (the desk clerk had my rate wrong.) Any way I never got a confirmation but I did get an upgrade from standard to inner courtyard at my original rate ($114) "for my trouble". Just make sure you have your confirmation # with you. You could get lucky!

We just got our confirmation letter and it took about 3 weeks after making our ressie.

Luggage tags, vouchers? What is this "confirmation kit" you refer to and is anyone staying on-site supposed to get that or is it only for AP or CL guests?

I made reservations for my November trip back in early May, and waited to get my confirmation but it wasn't coming. I called back in August and asked again for a mailed confirmation letter, and the CM said she will have one sent, but waited three weeks and nothing. So once again I called asking, and this time it finally came, the 1st week of September. I never had a problem getting a confirmation ever before, and I have no idea why it was such an issue this time!!

I booked our June 2005 vacation on August 22, 2004 and have yet to see any confirmation in the mail. I've called twice, verified information, reservation, etc. and requested a confirmation--still no dice.

I just called again today--we'll see if it arrives this time around. I've never had an issue receiving confirmations. In fact, last year, I received a confirmation each time I called to check on AP rate availability--like every day! I could have papered a small room with those sheets! It just feels better having the hard copy in hand. Of course, I do hope that I'll be changing that res to a lower rate and then I'll really want the confirmation!

The confirmation kit I referred to was for our 7 for 5 package...it included luggage tags, voucher for lanyards & pins, voucher for choice of selected feature and the confirmation of our requests. Having a bigger family with small children, and driving straight through, I need to make sure everything was in order before our trip.

I am suspecting with all the huricannes that they may have been a problem with the USPS! At least I hope so.

But my ressie isn't until Christmas so I will wait another week before I bug them again!

Well I called and they have my reservation. They show it paid in full. They said they will send me another confirmation. Hope I get it before the trip! I just feel better with the paper in hand.

The same thing happened to my family over the past several months. First we changed to the AP rate and got the confirmation right away. Then I added a room for my DF now that he is going and they sent another confirmation for my room but not his. Called back, checked and requested another confirmation. Still nothing. Finally got it after 5 phone calls. Then did a quick trip for the end of october and got a confirmation missing one day. Called and everything is right in the computer. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at the situation.

I got my confirmation - actually I got one for the trip I had originally had planned for Sept 24-27 and then the day before Jeanne hit I got the one for the rescheduled trip. I hope you get your confirmation soon or else give them a call and confirm that your reservations are still there (which I am sure they are)

I never got my confirmation for a room I booked for Nov. but when I called to add an extra day, I did get that confirmation. Very strange.

I guess we are all in the same boat. I was not too concerned at first cause I figured the storms had things a bit out of whack. I called a few weeks later and inquired and still have not heard anything. I have gotten a postcard welcoming back to the resort and a couple of other things. I do have the confirmation number written down and my credit card has been charged for the deposit so I guess I am alright. Headed down Sunday so I should know soon. LOL

I made online reservations on September 8th and was told I would receive a confirmation packet in the mail. I still havent received anything. The only thing I have is the confirmation Email I received after I made the reservation. Im just afraid we will get there and they wont have us in their system...

After reading this thread, I got nervous, because I hadn't received a confirmation for the reservation I made online. So I called this morning to confirm it.

The CM said that even though my entire address was in the computer, the street address field for mailing the confirmation was blank. She filled it in and said I should get one now.

Well, still no confirmations! I have requested them several times and still nothing. I guess I will just have my confirmation number in hand and figure that that will be enough. I wonder what's happened...........I've never had this problem before. Weird!

Today I received a folded up postcard type thing from the Coronado Springs resort (thats where we are staying). The postcard is a "We are looking forward to seeing you" type thing, but no specifics as far my confirmation number or arrival date...
