Anyone else moved from Beach Club?

We had a call from member services yesterday about the two studios I have booked at Beach Club in mid-September, advising that they were being taken out of service for the refurb and asking us to move. I thought I'd see others mentioning it on here, but I haven't seen any threads yet. I'm now starting to wonder if I'm the only one, and if I should have ignored the phone call! If anyone else has been asked, would you mind letting me know what options they gave you?

Someone else posted recently about being moved from Boardwalk for that refurb. I think they had 3 different 2br and one was being moved. There was something weird about the reservation that seemed to be the issue.

We have an October 2 BR at BCV but haven’t heard anything.

We have a two bedroom and a one bedroom booked at BCV toward the end of September and have not been notified of anything.

These were booked at 11 months and with BCV points…hope to be in BCV for sure!

I also have a 1 bedroom booked later in September but when I asked about that they said that, at the moment, it is only studios that are affected. I really hope that doesn't get moved as I've owned BCV for 5 years and haven't actually stayed there yet!

That thread on a member being called about being moved from a 2BR at BWV, turned out to be a computer error. The member thought he had booked three pool/garden 2BRs (had many family and friends going with). For some unknown reason, the system had booked him into two pool/garden 2BRs and one boardwalk view 2BR for late Sep. He was contacted to change the one with boardwalk view, and they eventually figured out the problem. Boardwalk view was not available because all boardwalk view rooms would be out of service at the time (something announced long ago), and they were able to give him a 2BR pool/garden view (that he thought he already had).

That makes sense then. On the phone they implied that all BCV studios were affected, but it really seems I'm the only one! Admittedly, no one else has said they're actually staying in a studio, so maybe not many people managed to grab one before they took them from the inventory.

It’s possible that you are the only DiS person here who is staying those dates??

Or did they imply it’s multiple dates in September.

The implication was the rest of September, which is why I queried about the 1 bedroom I have later in the month. It could just be the way I interpreted it though!
