Yum! Just went tonight but didn't have any - just bought some for DS7. The only reason I was so good is because I just went on Wednesday with DD12 She loves the cake batter ice cream and was DEVASTATED when they took it off the menu for a while. It is yummy but I prefer mint ice cream with a brownie and fudge! I loved the red hot ice cream they had February of 2005 when they were still doing a red pan flavor each month (funny, the pan was never red though!). I really miss that red hot ice cream... *sigh*

I love the cake batter ice cream too. That's why I usually get the birthday cake remix. That stuff is the bomb

I love the coffee ice cream with heath bar and fudge. We have two both are 10 min away from us on either side.
Last year it was 90 degrees out middle of summer, no ac and I was 9mo pregnant. I got a big craving for it so we drove down and got to the store just as they locked the doors. Polite as I could I tried to get them to open up but no luck. So we went home. The store is right next to a Fred Meyers so I could have picked up some Ben and Jerry’s but it wasn’t the same. Crazy pregnant women must descend on them a lot because I saw some other woman doing this last week since it has started to get warm. They didn’t let her in either. She drove away with her SO without picking up ice cream at the store too.
Recently I have seen a cold slab kit for sale some where so you could make it at home if you wanted.

I have my own signature Mix . lol Try it! It's Cheesecake ice cream, with brownies, fudge sauce, dark cherries, and pecans (or walnuts). It's kindof a black forest icecream. There birthday cakes are great too.

Of course you would have to have everything and be ready to eat it all. For me going to the store to get some is worth it as I would not be able to say no to any that was in the house.

Just found one up in Kendall by my cell phone place. WOW is it awesome. I had the strawberry ice cream with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. MY husband got the German chocolate cake and loved that. Unfortunately it is too far to go just to get ice cream but I will certainly go when we are in the area

Past flavors of my choosing:

White Chocolate ice cream with brownies and walnuts**
Mint ice cream with oreos
Banana or coffee ice cream with heath bar
Espresso ice cream with peanut butter and chocolate chips
Banana or strawberry ice cream with bananas and strawberries

**I've gotten that one the past few times and I've been thinking about creating a half gallon to take home!

About the only thing I'd make a special trip to CSC for would be their oatmeal (or maybe it was oatmeal cookie dough....don't remember) ice cream, but I've only seen it there once.

I was just there last night and they had the oatmeal cookie batter ice cream. I got it with yellow cake and pecans.

I worked at Cold Stone for a while during high school, and we got free ice cream every shift, so I usually experimented and made my own creations. My favorite was banana ice cream with yellow cake, bananas, pecans and sometimes whipped topping... it tasted like banana bread. Another favorite was half cheesecake and half chocolate ice cream with a brownie and fudge mixed in. I didn't really like working there, but man do I miss all that free ice cream!

Those sound really good! I haven't tried just adding my own ingredients. That's why I like that they have all the pre-made flavors so I can just choose from one of those. But those combos you made sound really yummy, especially the second one. I may have to try that sometime

I like it pretty well, although MAN they are expensive! I also get pressured trying to decide what to put in mine and usually just end up with mint with brownies. The one near us is pretty crowded and they end up asking you what you want before you are near the display case and I need to see the stuff in order to be creative.

There is a knock off place near us too, and it is called "Marble Slab" That does NOT have the same ring to it!
