Anyone Else Home Sick Today?

Just called in sick. Uggg I think I've got some kind of strep throat/cold combo. Thank goodness we don't leave to go to WDW until August! Anyone else sick today? I think todays just gonna be one of those "Stay on the DISboards for 8 hours" days.

Me. I've been home sick with the flu since Wednesday. I'm finally starting to feel a little better, but not great. The good news is, since I haven't been able to get off the couch for the past three days, I have my December solo WDW trip pretty much planned, and I've gotten a good start on planning our 2007 family WDW trip.

Right here with you! On wednesday I was diagnosed with a sinus infection AND a double ear infection. ugh. I am on antibiotics and a decongestant. Feel blah but I am trying to stay out of bed and on the computer is a good place to be!

I was sick Sat thru Tue. Finally Tues I had to go to the dr. At first he wasn't going to give me meds cuz he thought it was a cold maybe cuz I had no fever. I know my colds, I wouldn't have gone to the dr. for that. I felt like my head would explode and my throat was killing me. Turned out to be a sinus infection. So, he gave me meds, then took those (anyone take Ketek before?) omg!! those knocked me out, and I felt even worse for the next 6 hours or so. I guess it knocks you out to make you feel better. Hope everyone else feels better soon!

I thought about it... I woke up with a headache and some nice sinus pressure behind my right eye. I popped the tylenol and came in anyway. Now, instead of concentrating on work, I'm on the DIS... I keep telling myself that's it's only a few more hours, then I can go back home.

Me.

Was supposed to work 7p-7a tonight and tomorrow. Instead I am home with sacral/ileac joint inflammation and a herniated disc in my lower back. This all started over a week ago, and my doc gave me the grim news on Tues.

I am on a skeletal relaxant 3x/day, a prescrition anti-inflammatory 2x/day, and Vicodin at bedtime.

Surfing the DIS in spurts... I can't sit too long.
