Just wondering! This will be our first time flying in from another country, and any tips/tricks would be great! :yay:

Hi!!

I live in Madrid, Spain, and joined the boards not too long ago!!

Unfortunately can't go to the theme parks as often as many US members do, which on the other hand makes planning that much special :)

I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area so I'm sure that counts! :rotfl2:

Hi - I'm from Scotland. :wave2:

It always makes me laugh when folks from the US talk about their long flights - maybe 4 or 5 hours! :rotfl2: We have a 4 hour road trip just to get to the airport - then we have a 9 hour flight! :laughing:

But, it is sooo worth it when we feel that warm Florida sunshine on our milk-bottle white skin! :goodvibes

Which part of Madrid? I lived in Madrid for 2 years.. up in the Pio XII area (across the street from the Jumbo/Hipermas) for a while.. then down the 2 line in Sol area just off Gran Via on c/ San Bernardo .. I miss it. What I wouldn't give for some Cola Cao and a bag of magdalenas for breakfast again.. :love:

I live in the uk:goodvibes

Hi! We are near you and from Australia.....we flew with Air New Zealand last year (premium economy...which helped the looooong flight). Our first stop was in NZ, and we were more than happy with Air NZ....very good flight!!!
Yes it is such a long flight, but worth it!!

Yes! Isn't premium economy soo very nice? :) We are definitely flying that in September!

Which airline did you use to cross the country from California to Orlando?

Hi, we're from NZ too :goodvibes .

We are cruising last week of Sept & first week of Oct then a week at WDW. This will be the first time we've flown to WDW from NZ. Flying Air NZ to LAX & then United to Orlando (to get the air dollars). Unfortunately not premium economy as we're paying for 5 adults & 2 kids - it was just too much :scared1: .

Hi I'm from Sydney Australia!

We are on the same cruise :yay: (My sister and my 2 boys 12 & 15 ), with a week at WDW before, 3 days at Cocoa Beach after, another week at WDW then 3 days at Disneyland. Where are you staying at WDW?

We flew Air NZ in 2005 to LAX but are flying QANTAS this time. Certainly not cheap but the original price dropped when we booked land components! Go figure!

{make sure you drop in and make yourself known on the Cruise meet forum}
