Anyone else having trouble getting into dining reservations?

I know they're introducing a new system but when I go into "my vacation" and "dining reservations" it tells me "Did you know that your Internet Explorer is out-of-date? Our dining reservation system does not support Internet Explorer 6 or earlier versions. You will need to upgrade your version of Internet Explorer to a newer version". The problem is that I AM running IE8 and have been for ages. It won't let me get to my dining reservations or make any new ones. I posted this on the US board http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2475725
and people on there are having the same problem. Any techies out there who can figure this out please?
Incidentally I can only get into dining ressies via the US site - is that right?

Have you tried clearing your cache and dumping your cookies?

Edit: and yes, ADR's are only via the US site.

Anyway, I'll give it a try but I don't understand why the WDW website would think I'm running IE6 when I'm actually running IE8

As for why...computers in all their glory sometimes only need to be looked at a bit funny for them to get addled!

It could be something as simple as the new site is trying to 'talk' to something it sees in your cache/cookies but can't recognise what it is. At which point it takes it's pick from error messages that it thinks is closest because it doesn't know any better.

Don't know if that'll fix the problem but definitely the first thing I'd try.

That website has had issues with IE for a while now. Very annoying. I have firefox on my laptop but the desktop at work has IE. Needless to say, there was never a risk of ADRs made at work by me Glad you got it sorted.

I've got the same problem. DS has 'cleaned my cookies' or whatever, but still no joy, and we have IE8 aswell.
