So I stayed up till midnight and got my FPs for Anna & Elsa and 7DMT and I also got the rest of the FPs I wanted but there was no availability for small world. I got an error message saying the FP system for this ride is closed or something like that. I just find it odd that I was able to get the 2 biggies but not small world. Is anyone else having this issue or do we know if small world is gonna be going into a refurb in April or something. Anyways it's not a big deal I can just RD this on the day I have a Peter pan morning FP I was just curious if anyone else was having this issue...

It's closed for a refurb March 10-13. Is that when you're trying to get FP for?

No my trip is the 12th-18th of April. It must of been something flukey last night bc its back online now, but my son likes all the FPs I was able to get and doesn't want to give any of them up for small world, so I was just thinking about RD this ride. I don't think too many people will be rope dropping Small World anyways. I think they are going to head to either 7DMT, A&E, or Peter Pan for the new queue. So I figured on the morning we have a FP for Peter Pan we will just RD small World and then head over to Peter Pan

Unless it's an unusually busy day at the park, I've never seen much of a line at Small World.

Edit: my point being, you shouldn't have to use a FP choice for small world

My FP booking window opened last night too and I also noticed that IASW was unavailable. I thought it was odd but we weren't looking for a FP for that ride so I didn't give it much thought. Jungle Cruise (which will be down for refurb starting the 13th) stated the refurb thing explicitly. IASW just said no FP available. Must have been some type of glitch?

I think the system is doing you a HUGE favor. DO not get a FP for Small World. You can wait standby for that with minimal wait.

Is there really a need to RD Small World? I would think you could get it in easily without doing it at RD. But if it is the only thing you think will have a long line out of your must do list, then it would make sense.

Well we have a FP for Peter Pan for 9:30-10:30 so I just figured we could do Small World first and then head to Peter Pan. My DS8 is also on the spectrum and has ADHD so anything over like a 15-20 minute wait will result in a meltdown. We are planning on getting the DAS (we got it for our trip last year and it worked out great) but I was hoping to use that for something else. So I was hoping to maybe get a return time for another ride on the DAS, then go to Small World and Peter Pan and then back to our DAS return time ride. This is my plan, but anything can happen, lol. I am OCD about planning vacations. I have to have a schedule with my DS8...he always needs to know what to expect so if I don't have a schedule he feels completely lost and could also result in a meltdown as well. Its tough when you need to plan out your whole vacation, but you have to do what you have to do to make the trip more enjoyable for everyone :)

Small World is also one that should be really easy to get as a 4th FP+ if you wanted to rope drop something else that might have longer lines and fewer 4th FP+ opportunities. Not sure what that would be, maybe Buzz?

Last week when we were there in the evening, (on a 5 rated day) the sign said 20 minutes, but it moved steadily. I believe we were on within 15 minutes. I also wouldn't use a precious FP but also to consider is you can get one for later in the day once you use the first 3 for this.

Also - the time at RD is golden - if this ride is one of your top priorities - go for it!! :)

Even with FP's now available for IASW, you shouldn't need one.

It's a fast loading/unloading ride, with numerous times in the day with shorter lines.

Thanks everyone! This is my hubby's fav ride so its a must do for us, lol...Its good to know that it always has a pretty short line. We are going on a week thats rated a 4 so I am hoping its not going to be too crazy lol

Personally, I would not waste a fastpass on IASW. I have never had to wait more than 10 min for it.
