Anyone else having "Howie" withdrawal?

Man,I miss my "Howie" in the morning! Radio stinks!! I'm so not liking the Stern's replacement show!

They're playing some classic 'Best Of'. Yesterday was a drunken Sam Kinnison rambling on for 2 hours. He was supposed to be on Joan Rivers and then Letterman later in the day, but passed out and missed both shows.

I miss him too. I've listened to him since I'm a teenager, so it's been like 20 years. It's weird that he's not on the radio anymore. They are playing old shows, but I've heard most of what they're playing, so I end up turning it off. I'm still debating as to whether or not I'll get Sirius, but my car has XM, so to pay for Sirius too, I think it may be too much. I guess I'll have to live vicariously through others who have Sirius.

I miss him !!! Morning radio just isn't the same anymore. Here they aren't even doing the "best of"..... But,we subscribed to the Howard Stern premium channel on "On Demand", they are doing old shows on there now (uncensored), and will be broadcasting new stuff starting in April. I think it is worth the $10 a month for unlimited Howard. They have a bunch of different choices, and in April they will have a section on his daily shows.

ITA- I have XM with the car and just can't do both. I miss him though! No more new shows on E! either!

Good riddance!!

Two things I hated about him:

1. He talked about how hot the teenage girls looked while running out of the school durning the Columbine shootings.

2. He had a fan of Kid Rocks come into his studio and prove his devotion to Kid Rock by having Kid rock stick his fingers in his but crack and then the fan proceeded to smell it.


That was just what I caught watching his show in passing. I can't imagine what else could be on there.

I do miss him. True, his humor isn't for everyone. But if you didn't like it, you could switch to another station. I have been listening to the best of shows this week, but it's not the same. The old Kinnison show brought back memories. Our Howard replacement on the West Coast will be Adam Corolla. He's funny too. I'll listen to him until I pay off our credit card. Then we will get satelite for Howard Stern!
