Anyone else have trouble paying dues with a credit card online?

I keep getting a message saying the card has been declined, when, trust me, it is in good standing. This happened the last time I tried to pay with a credit card, and I can't remember the reason why. I need to call Member Services Monday a.m. to talk to someone about it. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?:confused3
 
MS is open today, just not sure if the Accounting office is.
 
I pay with my disney visa every year and it's never been a problem.
 
Yes, I've gotten the same message the last two times trying to pay online. And my card also has been just fine. And it works for DVC fine when I call and they had no idea why it wouldn't process online.
 

Chase is very tight on the anti fraud procedures. I often have a problem with Chase when doing internet transactions.
 
I used mine about 2 weeks ago to pay our dues online. I also use it quite frequently for online purchases with out any issues. Maybe it was a software issue. Did you give it a while and try again?
 
I too think it's a Chase security issue. My card was declined in Feb. when I paid my dues in a lumpsum payment. I'd never had this happen before. I called Chase and they cleared it. Then I went back to DVC website and paid with no further problems.
 
Stupid question I should not need to ask:
Can you pay dues monthly with a credit card? I know you can pay lump sum with a credit card. Maybe I am confused because I don't think you can autopay dues monthly with a credit card (or maybe I am misinformed on that!) Who is up to the daunting task of setting me straight on this subject? TIA
 
Just talked with our guide about that exact subject. You can only pay by credit card if it is a once a year lump sum. Monthly payments must be from a checking/savings account.

When I paid my Dues, Member Accounting initially said that the Disney
Rewards Card was declined..I knew that it had the exact amount of Reward Dollars I thought it did because I called the night before..

Anyway, there was a "glitch" in the system..Glad I had plenty of time, because it took Member Accounting a day or so to work with Disney Rewards to get it right!

Now I know..always leave enough time to pay dues...Would hate to pay a late fee...
 
In my case I tried with 2 different cards, neither were chase or Disney and both came back with the same error. DVC accounting had zero problem processing over the phone. Nor have I had any problems purchasing at anytime with either of these cards. There's something with the software and/or my DVC account setup.
