Anyone else have this problem when buying clothes at Wal Mart?

So I went to Walmart today to do some bikini shopping for my Florida trip this July. I grabbed the hangars with the size on them that I wear making the assumption that it was the same size that the garment was on the hangar. Well, I came home and emptied out the bag with the 3 suits I bought only to discover that I have different sizes for half of them from what they were said to be on the hangar label. So, has anyone else run into this problem?

That's why I check the size on the garment before I buy it. Wal-Mart is notorious for putting up returns on the wrong size hanger.

No, clothing at our country WalMart only comes in one size, 3XL.

That's why I check the size on the garment before I buy it. Wal-Mart is notorious for putting up returns on the wrong size hanger.

I most definitely be doing that in the future, I've just had no problems getting the right size on the right hangar until now.

I always check the sizes everywhere, not just WalMart.
They are not always on the hangers marked the right size

That has happened to me at other stores (Penneys, Kohls, K-Mart, Meijer, etc.) and not just at Wal-Mart. I never put anything into my cart to buy without checking the inside label of the garment, to make sure of the size, first.

I always try it on in the fitting room before I buy it. So never had an issue.

I always check the tags first. It almost happened to DD at Old Navy yesterday.

You may be out of luck when you return them. Our Walmart had signs up that ladies and children's swimwear was not returnable for any reason.

I am quite envious that you can walk into a store and a buy a bathing suit without trying it on.

I have been burned like that a couple of times, so now I check the tag inside the garment.

This and the same goes for shoes as well. I can't count the number of times the shoes are a different size than is marked on the box or even 2 different sizes.

I think most stores are a bit of a lottery with most things that aren't sealed so I always look no matter where I am. With clothes I actually check the tag on the clothing not the paper one like the pps said, tags have been wrong too and it is so annoying to have to go back for that sort of thing.

I've run into that at Kohl's a few times. I always check the tag hanging off the item, I never assume the hanger is right. I hate trying on clothes at stores. I'll try them on when I get home and just not cut the tags off until I know I'm happy with it. Even though I don't try on clothes at stores, I rarely need to make a return. I'm pretty good at figuring out what will look good on me and pick my clothes accordingly!
