Anyone else have their Easter break switched next year?

so, I just checked my DDs 2015-2016 school calendar and we usually get Easter week, but they changed it to the end of April .... I think because the kids have been struggling with coming back from 10 days off and heading right into state testing ...
Did anyone else's school do this? If so what state are you in? Trying to see if the whole country will be in Disney late April instead now, or if we're really going to get that lucky and be there during moderate crowds for a change!

I know here in NYC that because Easter and Passover are so far apart next year there are some big changes with spring break timing. I haven't really looked at the dates but I think it's similar to what you describe.

Ours is Easter week this year (next week) but will be mid April next year. I was excited to see a later date hoping WDW wouldn't be crazy crowded since we are getting to the point where DS cannot be pulled from school. Hopefully, it won't be a nation-wide trend.

Our Spring Break is mid April next year. They are changing the CT school calendars so all the districts line up with the same vacation schedule. Next year there are 3 calendars, the year after just 1 for the whole state.

Our Spring Break and Easter Break are the same, so next year, the kids have Good Friday off and then return the Thursday after Easter.

The public schools where I am (outside NYC) are having a split vacation next year. The children get a 4 day weekend for Easter and another few days later in the month for Passover.

Chicago Public Schools are off the third week of April for 2016 which is a change for us. Usually we have the week off before Easter or the week following Easter. I was hoping for lower crowds too, but it seems that many will be off at the same time.

Schools in our area (northern New England) always have the 3rd week of April for vacation, regardless of when Easter falls.

In Wisconsin, each school district does their own thing. Our kids normally have off the Friday before Easter and the Monday/Tuesday following. Next year we actually have off the entire week following Easter for the first time in a couple years, so it is off to WDW we go! I was very concerned about the crowd level, but by the sound of it, it may not be quite as bad as I anticipated.

Yes. In our part of Central NY it appears that rather than the normal Good Friday through the next week for spring break, they are now giving Good Friday with spring break falling the last week of April.

For once my break and my son's break are the same! Usually his school is always first week of April, regardless of Easter. My school is in the dark ages and HAS to have it around Easter (it's tradition!). If Easter is really late they will do it the week before and the Monday after also--usually it's Good Friday and the week after.
Next year since Easter is so early we both have March 25-April 3. So we are going on a cruise! Yippee! Of course then he graduates so it won't matter anymore since he will be in college and we will all have different breaks.
We are in Ohio. We don't get any passover time.

I live in Northwest Indiana and our spring break is always the 3rd full week of March.

I just checked and NYC Public School spring break is April 25-29 next year. Very late.

I am from Long Island, our district has 3 days off around easter and then the last week of April off, but if we use any snow days they will come from the April week. So if winter is the same as this year we wont have the whole week off.

Here, our entire county has a common calendar. Spring Break next year is 4/4 through 4/8
