Anyone else have issues getting their disney visa rewards card?

Ok I am a bit more than miffed with the Disney Chase people. I was told oh no need to call before the first of Jan to order your rewards card for out Honeymoon the start of Feb. I thought ok, but just something did not sit well with doing that. I rather have it in hand a fair amount of time sooner, so we called the start of Dec and transferred the points. Ok no prob it would be about 2 weeks we were told in order to get our card. Well lets just say that came and went and NEVER got anything so about a week and a half ago we called back and notified them we had NOT gotten a card their reply oh you should have gotten it by the 18th well NO we got nothing. They verified the address with us again and yes everything was correct, and it DID show that the rewards points were back to zero meaning they had transferred but we could not activate them cause we never got the card. They said they would rush another one out and we should get it within 5 days. Well heh that came and went and never got this one either. I am starting to get really annoyed with chase and here is even the bigger kicker. Instead of us getting a card today we got another apply for a disney chase card and get a 15 dollar disney dvd gift certificate. UMMMM I have the card I just want my rewards I earned. UGH sorry had to vent that and also ask did anyone else have this problem? Tomorrow will be the third time I will be calling for my card this time I am going to get a bit more strict with the fact that I should NOT have to call 3 times for it. Sorry for the vent and thanks in advance for any help.:bride: :groom:
 
I go to disney in 11 days. I forgot to order my card, so I called and you can pick up a rewards card in downtown disney and they will activate it for you. You have to show picture id and your credit card.
 
I would triple & double check on that card! Just on the off chance that it was stolen. We had no problems ordering our's. It arrived within 7 days of ordering. I also did not transfer all of my points when we ordered the new card, just the minimum. That was to avoid any mishaps, like this. Once you have the card, you activate it & can transfer the rest of the reward dollars.

we had this problem a few years back. it took almost 3 months to resolve.. once you get the card though.. save it even after you use your points. you can go on line and transfer anymore points you may accumulate to that card.
 

Sorry you're having this trouble with your Rewards card - how totally frustrating! I ordered ours online & had it within 7 days. To transfer more points is instant - you can do it online & use the points the same day - of course if you've never gotten the original card then that's a problem! Customer service anywhere these days is terrible. I spent an hour & 5 minutes on the phone with Sears last week just to exchange something - ridiculous! Good luck with getting this resolved - and if you can't get it resolved before you go try to have a great time anyway!
 
Just a quick observation; It's the people at Chase that are the problem, they just "rent the Disney name" for the card.

Watch out for this card, and read the fine print! Chase, IMHO, is the WORST company to deal with when it comes to credit cards! I had a bad experience with a late payment (admitted, it was my fault) and they hiked my interest rate from the introductory (3.99% I think) to 25.99%:scared1: , no notice either:confused3 ! I tried to negotiate it down to a reasonable rate, no dice. And the company was just about as rude as they could be. So... I paid off the balance and sliced up the card. Don't you know those nit wits called me a month later to offer me a better rate!:laughing:

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER agian will I deal with Chase:mad: .

See I wouldnt be upset if it was minor, but to never have recieved the first original card in a month? that is just plain odd. We have ordered it twice, and the first time we were given a confirmation number for our order that they said we use to acitvate the card. Now I assumed the card was no good unless you called and used the confirmation to activate it. When we called almost 2 weeks ago and was told they would rush us a new one they said if we got the first one and if it ends in xx number then to cut that one up as it is no longer good and use the one they were rushing us. Ummm I was like well that's good to know but HELLO it was supposed to arrive long time ago, so I highly doubt it was gonna arrive then. After this bs with chase if they don't finally get us our card I may do the same pay it off close the acct, and basically tell them don't send me anymore applications as I am no longer interested in having to play ring around the rosie when I have earned these point with you folks.:bride: :groom:

Wanted to update. We called again after the mail came gave it a final chance to get here thinking maybe it was just a bit late, and NOPE nothing nada, but yesterday they were fast to send us out an application to apply for a disney chase card :confused3 I was like umm how about what you owe us NOT another application for the same card we have. Well they kept saying you have not got it well NO or I wouldnt be calling. :mad: we had to tell them I believe it was like 4 times that this is the third time we have called we never got the SO CALLED rushed one they owed us, OR the one we ordered over a month ago. By this time I was getting mad as all get out cause I felt like I was playing ring around the rosie. She then said well it shows it was mailed out but maybe for some reason they stopped it because the rush fee was waived :confused3 wth? She then said we will rush another one waive the fee this time send it 2 business days to SEE if that helps, and could we give it till at least WED to see if it gets here. I was like why are you even offering that when you said the 5 days rush was stopped because of it. She then said she will keep watch on it. I was miffed bad I can't stress how :mad: I was at least not in words I can use here. I really feel this is getting out of hand I feel as again we have gotten the ring around the rosie play. Oh wait a few more days, pretty soon there wont even be enough time left. I also feel that maybe they are trying to get us to just go ahead and chaulk up the rush fee for their mistake. They have already zeroed out our rewards balance per the recorded info.:mad: :headache:
