A few trees were knocked over. Fortunately DS, friends and a tractor were able to right it and stake it out before the next storm and a tornado hit.

The latest storm was very frightening. I heard a huge rumble in addition to the wind which was really blowing. Grabbed Ridley (the Scottie) and prepared to go in the basement. We didn't need to, TG. No damage to life just a few tree limbs pics of damage

Oh wow, Deb!!! :( That must of been pretty scary! I'm glad you and your family are okay!

It looks like your beautiful gazebo got a little crunched? Do you think the tree will be alright?

Oh Deb!! How scary!

Isabel was a bust here on Long Island but the following week we had torrential rain and wind all day. I heard about the tornados in NJ. I wondered about you. Glad you are safe with damage that was quickly taken care of.

The big tree seems ok. I'm saying my prayers for it.
Good to hear you all are without damage.

In town a barn landed on the highway and a house was destroyed from the tornado. In DS's HSchool (which is very close to town) they didn't hear a thing......teenagers:rolleyes:

Today we're having the torrential rains with bright sunshine in between, very strange.

The flowers are loving it though:)

Deb: I LOVE LOVE LOVE your house! I'm so glad you survived without too much damage.

Thanks, we're so thankful too for not having the flooding that so many people here had.
