Anyone else hate the new Facebook format?

Mine has not changed either but there is a note at top of page saying the site will be down for a few hours for updates.

Uh oh - I haven't been on Facebook in a couple of days, but DD13 warned me today that when I go on again I "won't be able to find anything." Now I know what she was talking about!

Dang. I know upgrades are good, but change is very bad. I'm still not used to my "new" cellphone, and DD pointed out that it's 2 years old now and I can get a new phone again. NOOooooooooo!

Mine has not changed yet. I know it is a matter of time. DH and DD has the new format and hate it! DS has the old still.

A few months back they changed my format and I hated it. But after several weeks they switched it back. From what I have seen DH's is similar to the one they changed mine too.

For status updates:

If you go to the left side of your page. under your profile pic, click on friends and a drop down with status updates is there. I hate that I can no longer click on farmville to just get the FV stuff.

Add me to the list of haters - I just "discovered" the changes this morning and I am not a happy camper - bookmarks no longer at bottom of page - just as I figure out one I have to adjust to a new one - blah....

I just don't see the "improvement"....

Thank you for this info! Of course, they had to add an extra step to get to status updates whereas before I had it at the top of my list. Also, it took me forever yesterday to figure out where to log off. I'm still not a fan of these changes.

Count me in as someone that doesn't like the change. If I want to go to a specific friend's page, it's a PITA to try to get there. Gone is the 'friends' list. Hopefully FB will change it back.

The Friends list is still there, as are all the Friend groups you previously created. You just need to dig a little deeper. I just helped my wife find them.

Given what I indicated earlier, that I believe that this change was necessary to support platform changes that are absolutely essential, you can rest assured that Facebook will not "change it back". They will, of course, change it "forward", reflecting perhaps some realization that they need to make something easier, which this change has made harder.

When I want to go to a friends page, I have always just typed their name in the search box, it comes up when you type the first few letters.

The list I created is there. but when I click on the list just for my FV friends it also shows all other game accomplishments they are playing and chat they posted to their walls. I liked when I could click on Farmville and that is all I would see. I hate wading thru all the other stuff.

I don't like it, but then I was having a hard time getting updates lately anyway. It was a constant clicking between "status updates" and "news updates" just to see what friends were posting.

Now, I have to click on a name to see what they've posted recently....I don't like it!

I just wish they'd stick with something. It's annoying having to relearn where everything is after getting used to a certain format.
