I love it! Even though for the past six or seven years, we haven't done anything special to celebrate. We used to have a party every year.
I love NYE because everyone puts aside differences and worries to just have fun with eachother, to celebrate new chances, friendship, and fun.
Tonight isn't going to be much fun here. We'll be at home and it's not the happiest place right now, but still just the new year coming gives me comfort that things can get better.

) that we'd be on the street with all the amateur drunks who don't know how to drive. But seriously, people go crazy on New Year's, staying up and partying probably more than they are used to and then get on the roads and drive. No thank you.



I looked into it for 2 whole minutes, realized that anywhere we could go would include a $50 cover charge, and then stopped any sort of planning. They can figure it out. I'm not paying $50 that I don't have right now (we're leaving for WDW in 6 days, so my money is already spent!
