If you leave the right time - there should be no traffic going down. It's never good going home though! Yes we'll most likely go down to LBI as we have a house there. Hopefully it will be nice!

LOL, you said it. I tried to get off of work on Friday to go see "Scott and Todd" and the Goo-Goo dolls, but no such luck. Hope you have a great weekend with good tips!!

I remember when we lived in Philly and the 'burbs, everyone either went "down the shore" or "up the mountains" on summer holiday weekends!

The towns would completely clear out, the malls empty and hardly any cars in the streets!

I have to work the weekend, but have Memorial Day off, so I won't be doing much of anything!

We'll be spending the weekend in Cape May. We have a seasonal site at a campground for our TT so we've been there the past 3 weekends. We were able to take the AC expressway and the Parkway but as of this weekend we'll be taking the back roads, especially for the ride home. Hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend.

We're headed for Arundel (not far from the coast) the boys like to play in the sand. Got to have those Maine lobsters right from the boat!!!!! . The price of gas though will be enough to choke a horse with hauling the camper. ACK 8 miles to the gallon Oh well I'd rather be anyplace than home.

I will be on the Jersey shore this weekend, lol! (Family beach house) I'm a big fan of Ventura's in Margate. Great seafood, good music, and a very nice view of the water from the balcony.

I hope that the Ocean temp. isn't too cold.

Yeah, I can't wait to meet the Goo-Goo Dolls. I wish I could be there to see them perform but 6:00 is just a tad too early for me.

Well actually our beach club opens this weekend so we will be at the beach. But technically we live "down the shore". Our official summer opening ritual is tomorrow night at the Strawberry Festival in Oceanport.
