Anyone else going in October?

We're also doing LTT before MNSSHP ! There will be 8 of us, and the kids are 4,5,8 and 10 so it's not like we won't be "noticable" ! :rotfl: Kathe ... that was too funny about the limegreen ribbon in the girl's hair !

Mary-Liz

Mary-Liz-We'll keep an eye out for you at LTT. What time are you dining? We have a 5:05 seating. If you look at one of Taswira's posts(Shari) she has her picture in her signature. And you and Susan were both at the London meet a couple of years ago at Tiger Jack's, right? So glad to read that Susan is able to do this trip :goodvibes Bet she can hardly wait too.

 Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I wanna come TOO!

We'll be there Oct 3 - Oct 11 and our 1st ever MNSSHP (can't wait) plus the Food & Wine Festival looks interesting too.
We're stayinng in PORS. I requested one of the mansions, which looks absolutely beautiful. We stayed at POFQ in April so looking forward to staying at the "other half" of this resort in Oct. :maleficen

We are going Oct 1st-10th. Would have been cheaper airfare to go in September but this way we get MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival -- but we are not doing any events. We are doing the free dining though. Can't wait.

We're still hoping for cheaper flights (haven't booked yet) :worried: :scared1: BUT we did get FREE Dining. I'm just hoping we don't have to pay the money we saved on dining for flights :sad2:

LOL I feel your pain
This will be me in the spring. I've gone the last three springs and sadly, won't be able to next year.

Princess Aurora- You will love POR :) I have stayed at both POFQ and POR and they are both nice resorts. I did not stay in the Mansions, but it is a really nice resort to stroll around in. If you get a chance to see Bob Jackson in the lounge, do so, he is great! Boatwrights surprised me too, I had a very good breakfast and dinner there. I had heard a lot of complaints about busses since they go to POFQ first but I found the service to be very good.

Of course, my personal fave will always be CSR
Hope you find some good airfare rates.
Kathe

Thanks Kathe for the reply. I hope to have flights soon :bitelip: AND at a good rate.

I'm sure we will LOVE PORS...can't wait!

We're going down from Sept 28th until October 5th. We're hoping to go to MNSSHP on Sept 30th. We've never been down there for the Halloween party before, but it sounds like fun!

We'll be back for our first visit in 5 lonnnnggggg years! October 27-November 5 at Pop Century. MNSSHP on October 31 with our good friends and their three kids to complement our two. My daughter, at 2 1/2 years old, is an absolute princess fanatic - CRT on November 2 should be wild!

Wow, sounds like there are quite a few of us "in the world" in Oct :goodvibes
And a few "hopefuls" and "wannabees" ;)

OKW solo October 16th- 21st, a short trip to finish off my very 1st AP. Will be hitting MNSSHP on the 20th with my AP discount and thinking about mickey's milestones tour as well. Flying out of BUF on Jet Blue.

Katypop

Is there a meet yet for the 20th MNSSHP? I went last year on the 31st, and really didn't get to do too much outside of the parade, etc. So just grabbing a snack for dinner, and then doing as much as I can.

I will be having lunch at Trail's End, so that will be my bigger meal for the day.

This is a very packed trip for me, looks like you will get to stay for a wonderfully long stay! I am a big fan of the AC and CC at PI, up for a girl's night out?

I am coming also. Just got my flights SW $49 each way...yippeeee

Oct 26 - 29th All Star Movies, MNSSHP on the 27th and F&W on the 28th.
Then Nov 29 - Nov Cruisin on Magic...our first ever cruise.. :earseek:

Have a great time all.

Hockeychic-sounds like you have a pretty full agenda :Pinkbounc

I'm considering doing a cruise for the first time in 2007. Let us all know how it goes. You must be so excited :goodvibes

Will be staying at the Poly from Sept 30 - Oct 9th. This is a spur of the moment trip. We just decided 4 days ago so I am frantic trying to get ressies - dinner times are really booked !

Both DW and I have conferences in Orlando which start Thanksgiving weekend. So we're going down a few days early and staying at SSR on DVC points, then moving over to the Polynesian for four nights. DW's conference is at the Contemporary while mine is at the Gaylord Palms. This will also be our first trip to MCO without the kids. With accomodation and airfare paid for, this could be our least expensive trip yet! :)

Since we're going with friends who've never been, I feel a lot of pressure to make sure everyone has a good time. I've bowed to the pressure and signed up with TourGuideMike - man, talk about being overwhelmed. I was going to refer our friends there to see for themselves, but I decided not to; I don't want to send them into a complete panic. To think I thought I knew a lot about WDW!
