Anyone else getting sick often?

I have just caught what I think is my 3rd or 4th stomach virus in the last 3 months. This one has me sleeping all the time -13 hours one night 11 the next. I woke up the first night very nauseous and so cold my teeth were literaly chattering. Now mainly no appetite and some stomach pains. I could fall right back asleep.

The first one I got was the worst. Awful stomach pains, headache and it lasted about 2 weeks. And seemed to hit me occassionaly after that when I was tired.

I have just missed my 2nd trip in a row to go see my nephews in Baltimore. I was supposed to give them their Christmas presents. My 9 year old nephew told me he doesn't care about the presents, he just wants to see me.

Anyone else having a tough winter? I am so tired of not feeling well.

Oh God...pick me. This is the 2nd time this month I have been sick. Starts off just not feeling well, leading to fever, nausea, GI upset (both top and bottom). I was in bed until almost 1pm today...went to bed at 9:30 last night. I feel like crap and have no desire to do anything at all.

Yes! My family has had 3 stomach viruses this winter along with colds, bronchitis, ear infections. I'm sick of being sick.

We are all sick again too. We were sick the week before Halloween, the week before Thanksgiving, on antibiotics the whole week of Christmas and now sick again. Add me to the sick of being sick list too. No fun.

I swear that I've had the flu since October. I'll have a sore throat and aches and fever for a couple of days, then feel like I'm getting better for a couple of days and then end up sick in bed again. I got out of bed for an hour on Christmas morning to watch my kids open presents, took a break to barf, finished presents, and then spent the rest of the day either in bed barfing into a bowl or hugging the toilet! My dh took dd4 to the Dr. a couple of days ago and he gave her tamiflu. He said it looks like it's going to be a bad year here in Kansas.

Me too!!

DH got his first teaching job, so I think that has everything to do with it. We've both basically been sick on and off (more on less off) since he started!

Well, I feel bad for all of you feeling bad. But it does help to know that I am not the only sick of being sick person out there. I am going to try to go see my nephews today. I really want to see them but am dreading the 7 hour car ride. What's more, now I will only be able to stay one day before getting back in the car for the return trip.

Here is hoping that the New Year will bring good health to us all.

I went to the doctor yesterday day and it seemed like everyone was coughing really bad. The doctor said bronchitis for me. I guess I got that after a bout with the flu earlier this month.
