No sense to worry about what can not be controlled. Regardless of the weather, you will have a magical vacation!

ducky_love said:This always makes me wonder... Can you actually TRUST the weather forecast in other states!? I just assumed it was like this everywhere. Seriously don't look until 2-3 days out and take that with a grain of salt knowing that even same day forecasts are sometimes wrong.
jenlov said:It sounds like it has changed several times in the last few days. My husband looked at it over the weekend and saw nothing but sunshine with an occasional 20% chance. I'm watching closely. Here in Louisiana, we're used to odd and inaccurate forecasts. We had a 20% chance of rain yesterday, and it literally rained all day. Today, it looked like it was going to pour, but only sprinkled a bit here and there. The thunderstorms we're having now will probably be making their way over to FL in the next few days, though.
Question...how necessary will the ponchos be? We are staying for 10 days, so we won't even be staying in the parks all day. We brought them last time, but it was June. Very much needed. I was told by an Orlando local that December weather doesn't usually consist of the normal rain showers every day like in summer. True? Or just a wish? LOL!

Let's all hope for good weather for all of us. I am a big believer in weather.com, and Disney World looks good next week. I would be happier if it would be about 90 degrees, but my DH wouldn't like that at all.
Hope to see you all soon!
I know they say don't count on an Orlando, FL weather forecast being accurate until like 2 or 3 days beforehand. But it still is making me nervous seeing a week full of rain!! I should not have even looked![]()
I hate to say it, but we REALLY, really, REALLY need rain. Orlando is like 9 inches below the normal level. Someones gotta take one for the team!![]()
Take it from a 45-year FL resident. The forecast you are looking at is GARBAGE.
