Anyone else get the limited edition ears?

We got two pairs! Well worth the $90 a pair. They come in a beautiful silky lined hat box. One pair has been out and looked at (not worn and only touched with clean hands), the other has never been out of the box or wrapping (nor will it be).

There were only 1955 pairs made and represent the 55th anniversary. We plan on putting one pair on display in a box that has glass/plexiglass that will not be harmed or faded by the sun, the other won't see the light of day for a long long time. My friend told me to remember her in my will to get them

When I get enough posts on here, I will try to post a picture. If anyone has them and already has a photo, please post!

YES! That's exactly what I have. On the back is a little sewn on tag that says Limited Edition. Then below that "Happiest Memories" then below that "since 1955"

They are really thick too. They feel almost padded, not like normal ears that you would have your name put on. Does that make sense?

The inside of the hat box is lined with red silky fabric too. They are really nice.

I didn't manage to get one of these, but they are something to have.

I got a pair when we were there in May. I ended up having to ship them home because they wouldn't fit in my suitcase.

Yep, that sounds right.

I saw them in a glass display in the park a few days ago. They look really nice in person, seems like the pictures don't do them justice at all. A great piece to own for sure!

No, they aren't the same ears you get with the GAD voucher. They are just $90. Keep in mind that DAP's receive a 10% discount on purchases through the end of September (they've already extended this once, so will probably extend until the end of the year, but not positive) and PAP's receive a 20% discount through the end of September.

Some friends of ours actually have a PAP so we gave her cash to get the extra 10% discount (ours would have only been 10% with our DAP, but she got 20%). With tax with the PAP discount it was around $157 for both pairs.

We don't normally do that, but she was at the parks about a week before meeting us there this past weekend and wanted to get them before they sold out, so she picked them up for us and we paid her back when she met up with us this past weekend. (didn't want anyone to think we were cheating the system).
