How do you deal with headaches from the heat? The last time I was in DW, I had a headache for the last 3-4 days--I just think the heat and humidity was just too much. We are going again in June--I know it would be best to pick a different time of year, but this is the only time that works with our schedule.
The usual OTC medicine just does not seem to help. The Head-on Sinus Formula (red tube) actually helped me, but I can't seem to find it anymore in Delaware. Bath and Body Works also has an herbal roll-on for headaches that seems to work pretty well. I also found that they worked best if you applied them before the headache really takes hold.
I am posting this not just to help myself, but for others that suffer from headaches from the heat. Thanks for any suggestions!

), it helps me to take an OTC pain reliever every few hours as a preventive when I know I'm going to have a problem. Of course this is hard on a persons liver and you wouldn't want to be doing this all the time.
I have a prescription (actually 2) and will drink a lot of water, a little bit of caffein and take 2 motrin at first sign. Also find an air conditioned spot for a few minutes, and also hold an ice cold water bottle on the back of my head.neck. My migraines are bad, I was in ER last week for one!
. But really the only thing that helps my headaches
daily is Excedrine Migraine.
