Anyone else get bummed re: codes

We're going to Disney for November 10-18 and I don't have a pin code for free dining. Anyone else find it aggrevating to know there is a code out there but you can't use it? So, now I am constantly checking my email hoping for the code which will save several hundred dollars. I don't NEED the code but I'd really like it!

Words can't describe how frustrating it is, especially when so many keep claiming how many they've recieved in their household, how all their friends are getting them, etc. Not to mention those who got 40% off codes and now they can't decide which would be a better deal - that code or this new one they got. HELLO?!??! I'd gladly take ONE code this way please?!?!

And yes, I order the DVD, my email addresses are all registered with Disney and marked to allow incoming solicitations from Disney, etc. I was on the phone at 6:30am the day the general code came out last month and sat on hold for ages, only to be told the code wasn't available at the resort we booked. Argh!!!

I know I shouldn't take it personally, but it feels like Disney is saying f-you to some of us, and "welcome, we want you to stay with us" to others. I know that's far from being true, so now flames please, but that's how I feel....

I know at least 3 people IRL that have gotten the email, in addition to the scores of people on the DISboards.

We haven't stayed on site in years and have a trip planned for the first week of October at Pop Century. I would LOVE to get the free dining PIN code.
 

I keep checking my email, too. Still nothing!!! It very frustrating, especially reading post after post from all of the people who got a code and can't even use it.
 
SO FRUSTRATED!!!! I can't do free dining in Sept. and would be BEYOND thrilled to get it in November when we regularly go. Dining is MY favorite part of the Disney experience (the kids like it too...). :thumbsup2 To be able to have a TS meal every day for free would be so awesome.

I've checked my email over and over. Obsessed with it.

Disney, why don't you show me some love?!?!?!??!?
 
Add me to the frustrated list. I did have a pin code attached to my name a few years ago and I didn't even know it. I just happened to call to make a reservation for a Christmas trip and the CM told me I had a pin code. I never got the e-mail. I've been to WDW at least twice a year for the last four years and I wish they would reward my patronage with a pin code! Then again, maybe they don't because they know I book trips without one anyways.
 
It makes me so mad! I have NEVER had a code. My SISTER gets them all the time, a person who has NO intention of every going to Disney. She just throws them in the trash like they are nothing. I feel like I am being punished by Disney for going annually. It's like, they know I'm going, so why bother sending me any codes! It's so frustrating!
 
I'm going solo without DH, staying at GF with AAA discount, on Oct 19-25. We'd be happy with any other monorail resort, just for ease of access to MK and MNSSHP. I constantly check for household pins, but nothing yet. When the general codes came out in early Sept, I called at 7am that morning, but nothing available. Even the next set of codes came out, but it was just for late Sept to early Oct, so nothing applied. I still keep calling to check, but availability is nill. I'm excited that others have saved alot, wish some could come my way. We could have switched to a value resort, but didn't want to.

I am very morose that no codes are coming my way. Funny thing is, I used to get codes out the ying yang about 5 years ago. Now, I am the unknown Disney person.:sad2:
 
I feel the same way. I keep getting e-mails from Disney EACH DAY and I get SO excited! Then I read them and they are just solicitations or newsletters. I have also signed up for EVERYTHING possible, but with no luck. PIN CODE FAIRY - if you are listening, this thread needs some codes!

Oh yeah, did you get the one today about purchasing Disney Halloween costumes? I did (to both my email addresses) and so did my mom...but no code. :sad2:
 
Is the Halloween costume e-mail one that you can share? I could really use it for purchasing DD6 a particular princess outfit.
 
I do, because we have been going to Disney since 1987, and i'm on every Disney site there is, plus order every DVD available, and still nothin', How do people get so Lucky?:rotfl:

The poster on the other thread said she talked to Disney and that they should start booking this later today or tomorrow. This is great for those of us who didn't get the free dining email pin code.:cool1:

How can this be.......they finally offer a code to all the Visa card holders and the dates for when we are going to be there are not posted? I will be calling tomorrow AM to see if I can get it anyhow!:confused3
