Just received an email from ebay (?) that wants me to type in all my info (username, password, etc) for a "random security check." Is this for real or a scam? (I figure I won't reply to it anyway, just seems a little weird that after years of being registered on ebay they would suddenly need this info.) Thanks!

It is a fake. It is what is known as a spoof. Just for laughs make up some fake information and enter it in and it will take. Now if it were real it would only accept valid info.....

Also look at the urls in the top address bar and you will see some strange info when you submit it.

If you use Paypal as well for your Ebay transactions, the same type of scam is out there requesting your Paypal info. I've had both sent to me a couple of times.
