Anyone else get a card from AKL...pre-trip?

I haven't seen this before....but I got a card from the general manager welcoming us back to the lodge (we've stayed there several times now) and it comes with a list of things to do there. We are not staying concierge, so I was surprised to get anything ahead of time. I've never received anything like this before a trip, from any resort--nor have we gotten one from the other resorts we're staying in this next trip (Poly, BC and BW).

It has Peter Pan on it, and seems to be from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, but is signed by the manager and mentions activities at AKL.

How cool is this?

I got this too. I did get mailings from the YC too, but now that I think about it, it wasn't from the manager. Maybe they are trying to boost their occupancy?

We got one from AKl welcoming us back for our last trip. I thought it was a very nice touch!

How far in advance of your trip did you receive this?

Yes, we received one from the Manager and it will be our first stay at AKL. I think we received ours more than a month before I trip

We just got one from the GF in the mail yesterday for our January 5th trip. It was signed by Kent Mitchell, General Manager. DH thought it was pretty funny since he had written to Mr. Mitchell complaining about mousekeeping on our last trip and really never received much of a reply.

Our trip starts on New Year's Eve and goes through mid January

We got one for one of our trips to Pop, but not the other. I think the card was for our first trip in January.
