DH and I are okay so far. We live under our means anyway so adjusting to price increases hasn't been an issue so far. We'd be worse off if we were still driving the way we were a year ago. Last June I started working full time from home, so our monthly fuel costs dropped by over half between me not driving and DH being able to take my car vs. his gas guzzler truck. My job is secure, his is probably okay, at least for the next few years (his industry is hard pressed, not due to the economy but other factors).
We are actually spending more money lately, trying to get our house fixed up. One because we're tired of living in a half remodeled house, two because if DH does lose his job we may have to relocate and we want the house in shape in case we have to sell.
