Just returned from eight nights at Disney with the DDP. It felt like every restaurant we went to - besides Jiko - we were really rushed???:confused3

:confused3 Were you drinking? If we are drinking they would let us sit there all night. :rotfl2:
And to answer your question we have never felt rushed.

Yes, we had a bottle of wine at every meal - have you ever been during a holiday week?? President's week?

We go during July 4th week or Easter week both VERY busy times but we are a large table- so maybe they don't need our table as quickly? We are 6.

We felt a bit rushed at Tutto this past Oct..the apps came asap and then right after that the entrees...not enough room at the table! We just ate at our leisure and stayed as long as we wanted tho, I mean the place was half empty anyways

Italy was the worst of all of our meals. Not only were we rushed, but there were two children maybe 8 to 10 years of age running through the restaurant, fist fighting next to tables, and the managers just walked by not saying a word. There was actually a couple being served a bottle of wine and the kids were fist fighting right next to their table. Why couldn't the managers have asked the children to return to their tables????? I am sure their parents were having a quiet meal.

sorry you felt rushed. Have never been during a holiday week, so maybe that is different...we've never been rushed (and actually a couple of times we wished they would hurry it up a bit because we had places to go.)

Agree with previous poster that if you're ordering drinks they will never rush you...now maybe a bottle of wine is different cuz people don't tend to order more. With the individual drinks there's always the chance people will order two or more each:drinking1 ...which of course runs up that tab & makes the tip higher:woohoo:

I have never felt so rushed in a restaurant as I did in CRT... it was AWFUL! Maybe the breakfast or lunch is different. We thought we were the last seating, but no, there were people after us! We had a few other bad experiences that night, too, so that's off our list.

This happens to us at Prime Time. We are in and out in 30 minutes. No kidding.

I also thought the two times my family and I went there for lunch, because the food faster then we thought.

However this past December when I was there for dinner with 3 of my friends from Orlando I did not feel like they were rushing us, so there must be a difference bewteen their lunch and dinner services.

We have never felt rushes at any of our meals. There have been occasions that we wish we could have rushed our server, though. :lmao:

We were rushed out of H & V once, wasnt a holiday either, we admittedly were taking our time eating/chatting, asked for coffee and the server brought them in to-go cups....gee wonder what message that was meant to impart!

We only have felt rushed at 'Ohana. We have eaten there about 4 or 5 times and have felt rushed EVERY time.

PS-we always get alcohol with dinner and most times at lunch too. We drank at 'Ohana, but were rushed anyway.

agree with prime time, the food came out so fast, we did not have the relaxing meal we had planned.

at times we have ordered an appy then waited to order the entree

I've never felt rushed but then maybe it's because I haven't been to WDW in awhile really? Doesn't seem like that long since our last trip was DL but I guess it has been awhile since we've been to WDW!
I have had entrees brought out quickly but I tend to ignore any attempts to totally rush us. We're not the types to linger over our meals anyway, so we don't take long but attempts to rush us even faster are just totally ignored. LOL

Never, ever been rushed in a WDW restaurant.

Had exactly the opposite problem many times--the meal took way too long. Last trip, there were a few times where it seemed to take forever to settle the check and that annoyed the heck out of me. We missed Illuminations thanks to our server at Garden Grill having trouble figuring out what we were supposed to sign and keep.

I've felt rushed at CRT. I swear they can't wait to turn over tables there.

We go to 'Ohana every time. The food does come out quickly but we take our time with it.

I don't ever recall feeling rushed at any restaurants. Also, if it's not a buffet, the food seems to take forever. The waitress has usually apologized twice by the time we get our food! I would much prefer to have my food brought quickly...maybe we should try Sci Fi!
