I sure am..............it allows the DVC'ers that don't own at popular resorts....to have much better chances to get into other fave resorts at the 7 month window. I am happy about that.
With BLT being right there? Might be a stupid question but just wondering.![]()

Another line of thought is that it may make booking even more difficult at other resorts at 7 months because people maay be trying to avoid the higher point structure at BLT. For some nights BLT takes 50% more points for standard view than OKW.
For instance, standard view studios in adventure season BLT 12 pts weeknights, OKW 8. For a 7 to 10 day vacation, that difference adds up. Especially when you get into larger units.
A 10 1 bedroom stay at OKW 192 pts. Standard view BLT 250.
Well I think to start with current DVC'ers and new ones will be staying at BLT to check it out....and therefore probably giving us 7 month window folks a good shot at booking the popular resorts. At least I hope so. We stayed at BCV last summer in July and had no problems booking at the 5 month window but plan on calling 7 months out from now on.
But there are only so many units at BLT. If there's "no room at the inn" then members will have to book elsewhere, keeping demand at the other resorts high. And remember that there will be lots of new BLT owners looking to stay at their own property, and to perhaps trade into existing properties. So, the number of DVC units available and the number of DVC members are both going to go up, keeping demand at all of the resorts steady.
