It will be interesting to see how many attend since they have to pay a pretty high price for the buffet.

The Christmas party is paid for with our dues with no additional money OOP.

I am paying $60 a head before taxes and tips for Thanksgiving dinner on property anyways so I am going to try it.

We are very excited about it too! The dvc person on the phone when I booked said it should really be something special, especially if it's anything like the other non-dvc events they do at the ballroom

We're excited about DVC Thanksgiving, but not the way your post meant. For us, we'll be at HHI for the 9th year in a row. I think that means that HHI Thanksgiving is a tradition for us!

As of now I have a reservation for both the DVC special dinner as well as California Grill for Thanksgiving. Waiting for Thanksgiving menu and price info for California Grill, which isn't available yet, before deciding which one to cancel. We usually do Artist Point for Thanksgiving but are going to mix it up this year.

Anyone have any guesses on what to expect from the DVC event aside from the buffet and an appearance by Mickey and Minnie? Never been to an event like this before.
