Anyone else ever crave "disney" popcorn?

I just love the aroma and taste of the popcorn at the parks, especially on Main Street. It has just the right amount of flavor without being too salty, and a bargain snack by disney standards, a fraction of what you pay for it at the movie theater. Ususally on my last day at WDW, I get a souvenir bucket and put the lid on it, so I can enjoy it the next day when I get home while looking at my photos. Anyone else do this?

I understand what you are saying! To me, there is nothing like sitting in front of City Hall at MK, waiting for Specto to start, and eating disney popcorn. It's
a tradition!

Yes, I got two buckets when we left Disney and took them with us on the second part of our trip in Daytona. Once we were home, I made popcorn at home two days later and threw most of it out--I was missing my Disney popcorn. popcorn::

My DD9 is soooo happy, the orthodontist just told her Thursday he will be taking her braces off 2 weeks before we go to Disney so she can eat whatever she wants down there. She is very pleased to be able to eat POPCORN there. Grandma told her she will buy her a bucket just for her to eat to celebrate. She also is planning on a caramel apple at Goofy's... Next time we go, she will havve round 2 of braces on, so she better enjoy it this trip.

Please stop talking about the popcorn - I have dreams about it. Nothing beats a soda and some popcorn and a ride on the TTA. My mom will be with us again on this trip - she always gets the bucket then uses snack credits to buy the smaller boxes to fill the bucket back up. MMM munching on disney popcorn waiting in line for anything.

Popcorn is my husband's favorite snack anywhere. He likes it here at home, at the movies, everywhere. But he always says that Disney Popcorn is the best! popcorn:: We LOVE it. Such a tradition for us as well.

I am a popcorn junkie! WDW has the best anywhere. At home, I try to get the same taste, but I guess that atMOUSEphere of eating it there also adds to the enjoyment.:lovestruc

I try never to microwave it. I have one of those old fashioned popcorn makers that you add the oil to and then the kernels. Thay helps a little.

:wave2: I do, I do! There is nothing like having Disney popcorn with an icy cold Coca Cola. :cloud9:

just had the "crackcorn" for the first time last week and i am dying for just a smell of it! seriously it was so good, i can't bear to pull out a pack of microwave popcorn here - i might cry!

Me, too!! I'm embarrassed (well... not really) to say that I eat a LARGE bowl all by myself at least 5 nights a week!!! I can't WAIT to sit on Main Street and chow down a bucket with my son (the only other one in the house that loves it)....

I have thought about how I can pack my popper to take down with me, so I can have it in our room at night... but then figured it's not worth the trouble. I'll have to suffer through microwaved. If we've gone to MK, then I'll bring enough home to have that night.

I never tried the popcorn at WDW. Thanks to this thread, I will make sure I use a snack credit for some in November. Thanks guys! popcorn::

I love popcorn, and we usually buy at least one collectible bucket each trip, which we later use at home (to remind us of Disney). There was one time, however, that the CM sold us popcorn at DHS (then MGM) that was kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel, and when we tasted it, it was stale. We were disappointed, so DBF asked the CM if we could have a freshly popped batch. The CM said, "Sure, but it'll take another 5 minutes." We had no problems with the wait. While the new batch was being popped, two small groups of guests lined up with us for popcorn; the smell of the popcorn was awesome! We did warn one of these guests about the stale batch, and we all ended up waiting together, and everyone was happy in the end!

I love Disney popcorn, especially in the souvenier bucket. I don't know why this makes it that much better, but it does :goodvibes I have popcorn every night as my snack and while I love me some Orville Redenbacher, I can't wait for Disney popcorn!!!!! :lovestruc

Yup Disney popcorn is a definate must do on my trips.... Luckily though we have Salem Willows here in my hometown and the popcorn is identical to Disneys!!! OOOOHHHH I have to get over there befroe Columbus day thats when they close!!!
popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

I love Disney popcorn!!! I get a bucket every night as I'm leaving the parks and carry it back to the room with me. If those with me think they may want some popcorn later, they should grab a bucket too 'cause they are not getting any out of my bucket!!! :rotfl:

I know where the stands are in each of the parks, waterparks, and at DTD and always have to get a bucket!! By the time I go home from the trip, I have atleast 5 buckets!! I offered DH some popcorn from my bucket one time but he was scared I would change my mind later and be mad that he ate some!!!:lmao:

I dont crave it at home but when in WDW the minute I smell it I just have to have it I know I will pay for it later with the swollen fingers (salt) but it is so worth it

I wish I could have it,but it is made (or was) with coconut oil which I am allergic too.
