Last year in February, we had a really strong downpour for a couple of hours. We were prepared, "ponchoed up," and kept going through AK. We were chuckling, feeling so superior to the masses people running for cover. I thought, "Hey, no lines, I'll go on Everest!"
Well, I had to laugh at the ride photo of me on EE. When it's raining that hard on an outdoor coaster that goes that fast, the raindrops hit your face like little pellets. I was huddled down into my poncho, which luckily had a drawstring around the hood. Only about five inches of my face were showing, because those raindrops were stinging when they hit my face! I couldn't do anything but laugh, but then decided to do something indoors until the rain let up. That was my first time on Dinousaur. I liked it, but we had gotten pretty wet, and the air-conditioning made us freeze!
So I'm a pretty tough soul when it comes to the rain, but even I have my limits!
