Anyone Else Disappointed with Sticth Ride?

We rode it too on 10/30. Waited 40 minutes and didn't care for it at all. We walked off shaking our heads. They changed as little as possible from AE. It was definitely lame.

My fiance and I got to see it when we were at WDW 2 weeks ago. We personally thought it was a big improvement over AE, which we both despised (we thought it was way too dark, and I don't mean in lighting, for a Disney attraction). We really enjoyed the Stitch audio-animatronic. He is top notch! I don't know why people have a fit over the chili breath thing either...it's only there for a second....big whoop.

Only one or two of you mentioned whether you liked Stitch or not. I think that would have an effect on the perception of the ride. Most of the character rides for kids assume you know the plots of the movies pretty well. Peter Pan, Pooh, and the Snow White rides are awful and hokey if you don't already know what's going on. From the sound of it, this attraction isn't any different.

We also experienced Stitch. DD made the comment as we were leaving the attraction "Alien Encounter" was better! And I had to agree.

I am anxious to find out for myself what I think. I really liked AE even though it scared the whits out of me. I think I will like Stitch as well. I don't care if they didn't change it much because I DID like AE. For those of you that also liked AE, why would you be diappointed if it didn't change much except to add some better effects and put in a very beloved character. Personally, I don't care much for Stitch the movie but I know kids love it so I think Disney did a smart thing. BUT, remember, I haven't tried it out yet. I am just going off of what I have heard others say about the few changes.

I was disappointed when I found out that it is pretty much like AE, which I only went on one time. It may be good for my older daughters since they never went on it when it was AE because they were too young at the time, I will probably go on with them, but cannot say I am excited about it. I wish they had done something new and different with it. Just my 2 cents.
