Anyone else creeped out by Dr. Rey on Dr. 90210?

Dr. Rey has a good heart. I find him very likeable and genuinely concerned about his patients wants and/or needs!

On another 90210 note, did anyone see the recent episode with Dr. Moytake (however you spell it) when he posed topless with his adult film start patient?! These docs are whacko.

I saw that. He has a nice body. I didn't really think it was all that strange.

These people have some issues. I've felt kind of bad for Haley in the past - she seems so lonely and unhappy. The Dr. is always working late, doing his karate/judo mumbo jumbo, dresses like a clown. Strange. However, last night...wow. Haley's going to hire a moving crew and move in with Mommy and Daddy someday soon. She doesn't need a third child!

I want to tell Dr. Diamond (think that's his name) to get off the show. He's going to end up looking like a wack job associating with these psychos on the show!

The preview for next week's season finale - it shows Dr. Rey saying he thinks he needs a break, and Haley says all defensive "from what - ME??" I bet you anything Robert caves & is going to take a break from work to spend more time with Haley & the family. They want you to think he's taking a break from them, but I bet it's just the opposite. Just my guess. She walks all over him. Although that would be admirable of him to drop his career for awhile (the career that funds Haley) to try & get things back on track with the family. But then Haley will not be happy since the money's not rolling in like she's used to...

He just seems so completely unprofessional. I can't believe some of his comments fit within the ethical standards of the medical profession. It does not surprise me that he is not board certified, but I continue to be amazed at the number of people who will go to a non-certified surgeon and allow them to cut open their bodies. For cosmetic reasons!

I agree with this..I can't watch it anymore. I have never seen anyone more obsessed with money and themselves. She's nuts, too..at least I thought so ever since she put her deceased dog in a casket and displayed it in her home..

Sometimes he seems a bit inappropriate in the office. The things he says to patients are a bit too familiar.
I also think he dresses like a pimp. I really don't get his fashion style.

I think he does dress like a pimp. I can't believe that his patients really seem to like him and apparently find him sexy.

He is not Board Certified, but he is Board Eligible, which means he has had the training to be certified as a plastic surgeon, but has not taken the test that would allow him to say he is Board Certified. His website (which looks like it belongs on E, not as someone's profession website) does include his training.

I watched this week's show yesterday. Haley is totally out of line. She says she's moving whether he wants to or not. How is she going to afford a $9 million dollar house on her own? I sure hope he has a pre-nup. I can't believe she had that tantrum taped, unless it was "staged" for drama.

The show is like an accident. We don't want to look but we must. After all, we wouldn't watch it if it weren't weird....

He's creepy, sure, but if you look at his job, isn't it to make the women beautiful and sexy?

I would love to see his financials. I assume very few of his procedures would be covered by anyone's insurance and I would also assume that out there, the costs are as high as anywhere, plus, he can charge more because he's Dr. Rey. Does he get a fee for allowing the cameras into his practice? Do the patients get a break by allowing themselves to look foolish on TV?

And as has been suggested, how much of this is staged and edited for TV? These reality shows need to continually reinvent themselves in order to maintain ratings. I would never miss American Chopper, but after awhile, it became all about the family and no longer about building bikes. I haven't watched in for quite some time, but Discovery Channel made them quite wealthy with the exposure.

Hahaha. It's true. I get the same visual when he's talking to them! I mean the women, not "them."

Also, his highlights bother me.

Hayley looks like a skeleton with skin on it. I don't say that to be mean, but it is what it is.

Now Dr. Rey, he is strange, the highlights in the hair, the appearances on HSN, the karate or whatever you call it...his off the wall and uncalled for comments to patients. ODD!

OMG - I saw that episode and was like ...I can't imagine the pain Tabitha had getting cheek and jaw implants put in and then taken out? I was also shocked that the doctor posed topless.

Dr Rey is creepy, and I just don't understand the whole relationship he has with Hayley (and her MIL). He also does sound weird with some of the comments he makes to his patients - yikes.

The Diamond family seems really nice, and relatively normal.

Dr. Rey is odd..very odd. He totally feels up his patients and it's not just to make sure everything is ok in t here. YIKES! But Hayley. I wanted to smack her skinny behind silly. She just spends his money and then complains that he works so much. And what in the world do you do with a house that big and only 2 kids?? I mean honestly, that house was HUGE and it would never feel like a home. She's nuts and I couldn't believe her temper tantrum!

Dr. Diamond seems the most normal. I like that he and his wife, BOTH dr.'s are living in a rather modest carriage house type of home.

I like Dr. Rey. Yes he is different, but there is something about him that I like. I think he is driven because of his past, however I think it is time for him to take a step back and look at the big picture. He started all of this so he could provide his family with a nice life. Now it has gotten out of control and so has Haley's spending habits. Also I have noticed as the years have gone by that his daughter is developing the same bratty habits as her mother. As much as I hate to admit it, Dr. Rey probably needs to leave the show and get his family out of the public eye for a while so he can fix the problems that are now ripping his marriage apart. With that being said, the show will probably go down the tubes because we all love to watch a train wreck and with no train wreck, there's no show.

You think that was bad - did you see the episode last season (or even prior to that) where Tabitha had ANAL BLEACHING done? I'm not even sure I want to know what that is or why you'd do it! I'm assuming since she is in porn it has to um, look nice or be professionally cleaned or....whatever!

hahahahhahah that is soooooo funny. I almost peed my pants!! I totally agree. He is too creepy and he does kind of look at women with hungry eyes!!
