Anyone else concerned about Atlantis?

I think it's been evident from the start that the Ko Olina developer was going to pursue projects for all the available parcels of land in the master plan.

A quick google earth peek, shows at least two lagoon, two marina and one golf parcel still available. Baring another Great Recession, I would bet all five of those are built on over the next 10 years or so.

We heard rumors that the Shangri-La was going to take the last lot near the harbor. I don't think having these high-end properties is going to make Ko Olina super-crowded. It would be nice to attract more shops and restaurants to the area that are not part of the resorts. That could provide better/less expensive options for all sorts of stuff.

No lagoon parcels left for sale. They were both bought by a chinese company.

I had a Marriott employee tell me that lot was purchased by a developer who will be putting a small retail plaza with more places to eat and shop there.
