Anyone else checking in the 18th and not received docs ?

I'm wondering if I should still be patient lol.

We arrive on Dec 17th but our package starts the 18th. We haven't received any documents yet.

I tried to check on them yesterday but got a CM who thought I was a pain. lol

He pretended to check on my docs but since he didn't ask my name, reservation number or any info I know he didn't.

Has anyone else going this time received or not received their papers ? We are in Canada by the way.

I booked through DU and arrive on the 15th - never even occured to me we should have our package yet... better get on that!

I have not received any documents. I called last night (ME) and WDW had my address wrong in their computer! Geez, same address I have been using for years. It got lost in the system. They told me if I didn't receive them in 4 business days, then they would courier them to me!

I will always book through Disney from now on - never again through an agency. DU don't work on weekends and have no one to speak to at all at weekends and don't answer emails - I'm in a panic because my flight doesn't appear on my reservation either which means I'm not booked for ME. Same thing happened when my final payment was due on the weekend. I paid on Saturday as it was due by midnight Saturday but got a message saying that payment would not be processed until Monday. I called Disney in a panic and they extended the deadline for me, and the reservation was not cancelled. I know there are people out there who have had good experiences with them but most of my planning is done off hours and they only work Monday to Friday during regular office hours.

Back in Februrary when we made our room only reservation at the Polynesian which starts on December 15, we were able check it on the WDW website right away and we got the confirmation e-mailed the very next day.

It was WDW reservations who lost my address! I have been making payments with my credit cards for my room and completely paid it of this month and still they lost my address!

I don't doubt that you had these issues with your TA, but I can tell you that in my case with my DU TA this is not true. In fact, just last week she got up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday to schedule my ADR's at 180+ days. Perhaps you should contact the owner to express your issues with not being able to reach your TA.

We leave dec 11th and haven't recieved anything yet. we booked through AAA though, so, I know everything will go to them, but we haven't heard anything yet. I think I'll have to give my TA there a ring dingy on monday.

Our trip begins on December 15th. I received email confirmation of my deposit and payment within days of booking through Disney. I got my ME documents a week and a half ago, and got my travel document package from Disney on Tuesday, 11/12. I love getting mail from Disney! Good luck!!

I don't doubt that you had these issues with your TA, but I can tell you that in my case with my DU TA this is not true. In fact, just last week she got up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday to schedule my ADR's at 180+ days. Perhaps you should contact the owner to express your issues with not being able to reach your TA.

I really don't think the issue is with my TA - I think it is with the DU process as a whole. My TA has been applauded on these boards on several occasions, she has done everything I asked - just no back up on weekends and no one to step into her shoes during her holidays. I emailed her backup first thing this morning with big flags all over it and have had no response, at least with my TA on weekends I would get a "Since it's the weekend I'm spending time with my family" autoresponse - with her backup I've got nothing. I did leave a paniced phone message with them this morning but as per their message I'm expecting a call back on Monday. That's okay, lesson learned for me, other people love DU - nothing works for everyone.

My TA h as been great checking on things making changes and everything. Our trip was paid off Nov 2 and she called 5 days later to say my resort papers were in and I could pick them up or I could wait till ME papers were in.

We are arriving on Dec 18th. Our AAA TA called on Nov 16th to tell us we could pick up our documents. Since we are approximately an hour from her office, she said she would DHL them out to us on Monday. We should have our paperwork in the next few days. How exciting!
