Last year I booked directly with Disney central reservations and received room confirmation information (and all kinds of goodie information about our hotel) within a few days. This year I booked POP with AAA online. I haven't received any kind of information since the initial "Ok..you are booked" confirmation page. This was about a month ago. Have any of you AAA people received packages of hotel information from AAA? Just curious if I should expect anything.

I booked with them. Other than a confirmation email, nothing. I did email them back about 2 weeks before our trip to re-confirm they still had our room reserved. They answered within 2 days "yes"

Hi everyone - I also booked thru AAA (in Arizona). I worked with a Disney Specialist and she confirmed my confirmation and told me a print out would arrive in the mail. I got it a week or two later. Also on my print out was a Viewtrip Reservation # that allowed me to go to a website and enter a code to see my reservation online. I would call to see if you could get this number from you AAA agent or ask to have a hard copy sent. I received no "freebie" stuff with the confirmation letter (brochures of hotel, disney maps, etc.). But all in all it was a good experience. Dont quote me on this, but I was told by a friend if you book with AAA you have use of a special lounge in MK. Might want to ask about that too. Enjoy your vacations guys!!! :wizard:

Now maybe I just have the best AAA agent :sunny: , but I got a whole packet of information after I paid for the trip. Up until the 45 day mark all I received was a receipt.

Basically, I have a portfolio of all of my reserations and requests. I also got maps of the parks and vouchers to visit the AAA center at the Magic Kingdom.

You might want to call you AAA agent and find out where your paperwork is.

This was my first time booking with AAA. There is a AAA office where we are, I did this in person. I was mailed a copy of the confirmation fax from Disney. She gave me info sheets on the Dining Plan(booked that too) also info about the *special* AAA VIP room at MK. I have always used a travel agent before this and there wasn't any communication until our vouchers were in. I expect the same thing this time. A dear friend just got back from her AAA trip to WDW and that was the same situation.

My mom works for AAA and I still call Disney for the reservation because I like the Disney stuff they send. I first check the AAA rate on the AAA website and book the same rate with Disney.

I also booked room only through AAA for next June 06, CR Tower. I booked it about two months ago and the only thing I received was an email confirmation. When I got my credit card bill last month, it did show that the one nights deposit was already on there, so I assume it's all set. But, being the way that I am, I still go on the AAA site every so often and check the confirmation number- just to make sure. :goodvibes
BTW, I 've always booked our other non-disney vacations (Hershey park, Niagara falls, Toronto, Atlanta and any hotels that we've stayed at on our drive down to Disney from Boston) on the AAA website, and never received any type of confirmation other than the emails, and they have all worked out just fine. Hopefully this will, too. :)
