Anyone else Book thru WDW Website????

When you book online and make a night's deposit you get a confirmation number that begins with the letter R. I was told that I can not pay off the balance until the day I check in because the way they collect payment is different between the phone reservations system and the internet.

Does anyone know if I will receive a paper confirmation in the mail? I never booked online before and was wondering if I could expect the same paper confirmation I always get from reserving on the phone.

I would call again and try to get a different CM. I booked online at disneyworld.com and paid off my trip at disneyworld.com. My confirmation states that the trip had to be paid off 45 days prior to arrival at our resort.

I also called a few times in the past to switch resorts and the CM would always ask if I wanted to make a payment over the phone.

I tried a different CM and was told the same thing. This is really weird...

I made a downpayment for my trip in Dec. through the website; I call to try to make the final payment and the CM tells me that I can't pay over the phone, I have to make the final payment the day I check in. I want to pay now to get it out of the way. Has anyone else experienced this???

I just booked a couple weeks ago for March, and both an email and a letter told me my final payment is due on Jan 16. So not sure why they told you the final payment is due at check in.

Oh my, we leave the 4th and I haven't gotten a thing yet. I thought it was something like 21 days prior. Since I am probably going to claim my luggage can we still use ME if I don't get the tags and vouchers?

I am not even flying there and I didn't even know I was going to get luggage tags. hmmm... Well, this is the first time I'm doing the whole concierge thing. And I did have to send something back to the WL... an "intinerary" so maybe that's why I got them ???? Call Diz, I called the 407-WDISNEY # and they are helpful.
