Anyone else alone this New Year's?

I will be. DH is on a trip, visiting friends in South Florida. I do not have any friends to speak of close by. No one I would feel comfortable spending New Year's with anyway. So it will be me and the kitty, it seems.

Oh well. I guess things could be worse, so I am not too sad.

My best friend moved away..so I will be here I guess...

He's visiting some buddies in Ft Lauderdale. WHich is also where my family happens to live. My family lives in Davie to be exact. His friends are scattered about, but the main one lives in the Margate area.

This time, last year, we were at the World!

I'll be alone tomorrow night too as DH will be working the 31st and the 1st nightshift...... 12hr shifts actually. But I've also got my 2 furkids and a couple of good books AND the DIS to keep me company.

I will be pretty much alone as my DH will probably be sleeping because he will be coming home from work Wed. morning. Hopefully DSs will also be sleeping.

I will be. None of my friends at home seem to want to get together which ticks me off like you wouldnt believe since we have been planning on hanging out on New Years for a while. I leave for school on Tuesday and i cant wait to get back with my friends out there. I wish I could celebrate New Year's with them but it is a little far.

HA! Me too! Well, actually I might go out with family that night. I'd probably be just as happy staying home, but hey maybe I'll meet someone and NOT spend the night alone.

Tonight I will go to church for dinner and lots of laughs. Our Associate Pastor always has some skit he does. DH has to work, so it will be the girls and I once we get home around 9.

I Pm'd you, but this is too funny..DH is a Batt. Chief for Margate..they work 24hr shifts..We lived in Davie till August when we moved to Boynton...

Drink wine, read a book, surf the net undisturbed, make any dinner you want, go to a movie, walk around the mall, watch TV, watch a VH1 countdown, get out your CDs and listen to the songs you haven't heard in a while...and on and on and on...
