Anyone else addicted to flavored coffee creamer?

I like my coffee very sweet and am using way too much flavored creamer. I use the fat free varieties now, and have tried the sugar free types, but they just aren't sweet enough.

Anyone have any good substitutes they use? I'm less concerned about the ingredients and more concerned about the calories, since I drink 2-3 cups per day.

Thanks!

Have you tried the sugar free torani syrups? They have several flavors, although I've yet to find the raspberry one.

I, too, use flavored creamers (mostly the dry powdered Coffee-Mate ones) and I think they may be discontinuing my favorite one, Caramel Macchiato. I haven't been able to find it in our local Wal-Mart or Meijer either one, and they don't even have a spot on the shelf for it now either. So, I found it on Amazon and it was about $22 for 6/15 oz. containers so I ordered 1 then decided to order another so have 12 altogether. And I found a few at another Meijer so grabbed 3 more (2 left on the shelf). I should be all set for awhile. :) I'll probably just have to find another favorite eventually. And I don't care much for the liquid creamers that have to be refrigerated as I don't like pouring cold liquid into hot coffee, so then I put a little in another container and microwave it for a few seconds but first thing in the morning I'm really not wanting to mess with that.

I use a stevia packet and then a little sugar free creamer. That makes it sweet enough without using too much creamer.

Not addicted, but I do like different flavors. I used to love Irish creamer until they put brown sugar in it. YUCK! But I do buy other ones, Almond joy, a salted caramel something now. And I use two packets of truvia with some cream. I don't drink coffee everyday either.

I am completely the opposite. I loathe 'creamer' in any way shape or form and find the flavored ones to be my least liked. I will use the unflavored powder or liquid if I have to but 9/10 times I just forgo coffee if creamers are my only alternative. I use milk (usually skim but I splurge every once and a while and get half and half) and some splenda. I don't even do flavored coffee.

However, I travel and used to use a small coffee concentrate put out by Folgers that could be added to water or milk. I can't find it anymore. The only thing I can find is MIO and it comes in Mocha and Vanilla Latte flavored. I've gotten some so I can try it out and it's not awful but not my preference.

Have you tried those little Starbucks Via! packs I think they are called. My parents use them on travel and they really like them.

Yes and I do use those (and the ones from Trader Joe's) but the nice thing about the liquids is that they work hot or cold. Most of the crystal/powder ones have to be specific to temp.

However to get plain coffee I'll just bring some of each.

The MiO's only have about 10-15 calories and are slightly sweet, so they would be a good alternative to someone looking for lighter calories in a flavored additive.

Have you ever seen what they put in those flavored creamers. If you are going to use them, at least use the one made from actual milk and not from items like water and oil (i.e. International delight). I believe simply pure has milk as the first ingredient.
