Been twice since December.

Now i am hooked.

I think it because in part it is only a 3 hour train ride from London as opposed to 9 hours on a plane.

I want to book again.

Anyone else hooked on DLP?

I'm an annual pass holder and shareholder tend to go around twice a year for a long break (5 days or more) and around 4 times a year for short two day breaks.

Our obsession started in September 2012 with a 2 day visit with DD who was 2 1/2 at the time. She got SO much from it. So then we did a mad annual pass year - Mid December for DD's 4th birthday, Easter ish time with my parents in law, and early October for Halloween with my parents, brother and SIL. Thought that would be enough to last us a while....wrong!
We were going to the South of France in May last year ANYWAY, so would have bene rude not to do a quick sneaky one day visit - and DH HAD to buy an annual pass ready for it....knowing we were then going back this March for 4 nights/5 days for DS's first Disney trip (at 7 months old!! lol).
Next visit after this is planned for early Jan 2018... lets see if we last that long..... lol

To be honest, I get just as excited planning other people's trips too, so when friends say they're thinking of going......out comes all my 'good' advice, whether they like it or not!!!! :rotfl2:

Visited 30 + times when the children were growing up, before the older two and my wife lost interest :-(

We also managed to break up our journeys's to the south of France with a day or two at the DCR.

Haven't been for 2 years now, miss it like crazy, and still check in on this forum every day!

Thankfully my younger 2 are still nagging me to go back so will hopefully visit again after the major refurb is completed.

DLP is my happy place, it started with all the memories I have made there with my daughter (we're not done yet), and then my nieces too, and then my daughter's best friend. We are planning to go back in July 2017, like markpsych I wasn't there at all in 2015, and I miss it like crazy (Orlando was fabulous, but DLP is "my" Disney home).

When my daughter has left home to go to university, I'll be going solo to DLP, but I'm sure if I offer to pay her fare, she'll tag along a time or 2 (I did my job right and raised a Disney kid lol).

We visit 3 times a year now that we have Dream AP's. Easter and the summer are week long visits, New Years is just a short 3 day visit as we can't stay for any longer due to commitments at home at that time. I love going to DLP with different family members so we have different experiences each time. DLP is my happy place and I am grateful that I can go so often. I do miss going to the US parks, but I love going to Las Vegas too so we tend to go there when we visit the USA.

Oh I miss DLP soooooo much!!! Can't wait until next year when I can go back after my self-imposed five year ban, and yes I know I only have myself to blame!

Roll on 2017 and the 25th celebrations, looking forward so much to going to Remy!

Every year since 2009 and a few before then too. Like many people, our kids have grown up at DLP and we have wonderful memories, which is probably why we overlook any niggles. It honestly feels like a second home every time we go back.

If we lived further south we'd definitely have annual passes and be hopping over frequently. No plans to visit this year (yet) but will definitely be planning a 2017 trip :goodvibes

I love being at DLP and I don't really know why.

Now I have an AP and I think I'll have made 5 visits during its validity, the last one to renew it for free due to three guests generously allowing me to sponsor them!

Got an annual pass in November for a two day visit, Visiting four days End of March, Four days in August and then going for Halloween, So the answer is yes lol
