Anyone eaten at Spoodles lately?

We ate there over Christmas and my family really enjoyed it. The food was good, sangria was outstanding!, and we received great service. We met SIL & BIL who live in the area for dinner and spent a few hours having a long leisurely dinner so we could visit and weren't rushed at all.

"We ate their in January of this year and found the menu choices very limited, and the service fairly poor. The food was decent, but this wouldn't be on my list to visit again."

Have to say I agree with Spart02, although I didn't even think that the food was decent! Maybe we were just there on an off night last month, but the food was mediocre (dh's pasta) to poor (my chicken, dd's veggies). The restaurant was pretty empty, too...

Just ate here last week and I thought the food was good. My friend and I both had the sangria which was very good. We then split the 4 cheese flat bread and shrimp appetizer. For dinner I had the ny strip and the scallops add on, I ordered the steak med-rare, it came rare, which was fine with me. My friend ordered the rigatoni with shrimp added, it was very good. For dessert she had the creme brulee and I had the gelato. It wasn't my favorite meal of the trip, but I would go back.

We just got back from WDW and Spoodles was our favorite meal of the trip. We ate at lots of places....Chef Mickeys, 1900 Park Fare, CRT, O'Hanas, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, to name a few. We were on the dining plan and it was AWESOME! Spoodles is very expensive, and we ordered the biggest steaks they had. The garlic shrimp appetizer was awesome and the dessrts were incredible. They even have a ice cream sundae dessert for the kids that was served on an artist's palatte with little cups of toppings so they can make the sundae any way they like. It was awesome!
There were 6 adults and 2 kids and our total bill was over $500, which included a 18% tip. We would never had payed for such an expensive meal, but since it was on the plan, it was a great bargain.
I highly recommend it.....especially if you have the dining plan! :thumbsup2

We were there in January. It was fine, but nothing outstanding. We were not on the dining plan and we thought it was over priced (not a surprise). We had a four cheese flatbread, which we thought was pretty small and my son and I both had lemon chicken, which was fine. My husband had rigatoni, which he said was good. The bottom line is we couldn't really complain about anything, but we weren't impressed either.

We have eaten at Spoodles every single trip since they opened and would not dream of skipping it.

Our last visit was in Jan and it was excellent as always. We call the 4 cheese flat bread "heaven on a plate"! They had changed the bread and dipping oil to an ever better type of bread. We could hardly stop eating it.

We do miss some of the old entrees. We spoke to our server about it and she said many people have said the same thing and they may be opening the menu back up in the future.

My wife and I had dinner there on our end of September trip. We always love Spoodles. Though the menu is more limited than it used to be, what we had was delicious, and with fine service. The dips are a treat, and the seafood stew was very tasty. Ask for Gary as your server, if he's still available. If the outside patio is open for seating, that offers a nice view and setting and usually quieter.

Have fun.
