Anyone eaten at Motown?

Just thinking about where to eat the two nights we'll be at US/IAO. We're staying at Royal Pacific, but expect we'll end up at Citywalk one night and in the parks the other night. Does anyone have any feedback on the Motown Restaurant at Citywalk or have other suggestions? We'll be a party of four, including our two kids 3 & 6.

We ate lunch at the Motown last September ... this was unexpected because we were only trying to get out of the rain on the way from the Parking lot to IOA. My Mum (60) was fascinated by the memorabilia so we decided to stay and get something to eat. Our party was Me (30), Mum (60), and the Twins (7,7).

As far as food goes, it was your standard fare. Nothing really stood out and the buffet seemed very limited considering the size of the place. The Atmosphere is very comfortable and the background muzak is great.

We also ate Dinner at Latin Quarter which I thought was much better for our group. The Twins take dance classes at home and the Dinner times have a Latin Dance show which was really good. Food was also different from what we have at home (New Zealand) but very nice.

We also visited the Nascar but couldnt get seating for the time we arrived. If you have boys this would be great place to go with the standard burger and fries fare.

After hours, I returned to Motown where they had the top bar and karioke going and the whole place had completely transformed (for the better). I cannot recommend the Motown for Lunch and group with Children not because of anything bad but because there are better options available.

My recommendations, Latin Quarter, Mythos, Cresent Moon Cafe??? in IOA, Nascar looks nice but need further investigation. Hope this helps.

just recently returned and tried Motown for lunch but was not impressed with buffett. Did try Nascar Cafe and loved it!! Try the pulled pork sandwich which has rather large servings!!

We went for dinner in late May ~~3 words for ya~~
............BEST RIBS EVER!!!......................
just our opinion, but we are looking forward to going back next time, those ribs have us HOOKED!!!!!!
P.S. Michael Jackson & Diana Ross both stopped by our table to make sure all was well. And our server's home town is the town we live in (& I grew up in!)
Yea, I guess we liked it !!:D

I ate there the week of July 15th. We ordered from the menu. I would not eat there again. The lettuce was wilted and turning brown and my medium rare steak was overdone. I just wasn't impressed.

I loved Margaritaville and Hard Rock. I'd rate them #1 & #2 of all the places we ate and we hit most of the ones at City Walk.

Don't write off the Island Dining Room at RPR. The food is EXCELLENT (although pricey). Thankfully, they have a kids' buffet for just $4, complete with a separate kids-sized dining area.

Also, check out Mythos in IOA. They, too, have a less expensive kids' menu and the prices are about the same as at Motown or maybe just slightly higher.
