Anyone Eaten At Earl Of Sandwich??

 IMHO defintely better quality than subway or quiznoes. I had the Caribbean Jerk @ the DTD location and it was soooooo good. I was the only one in my family to get EOS, everyone else ate somewhere else and they were all kicking themselves for not listening to me. LOL :lmao::lmao:

So would you say it is on the same level as Quizno's/Subway or better quality?

Not to be a cold cut snob, but I only eat Boar's Head products at home, so I am trying to get a sense of what kind of meat is used.....

Thanks in advance for your input.

Better quality! Now I love subway but EOS meats, and bread are better!

We are going in December on the DDP and you guys have me sold on eating there...what is the holiday sandwich?? :confused3

We <3 EOS. I agree with best CS in all of WDW. My boys love teh BLT. My mom and I get the caprese and the chicken caesar wrap (and share). I have no idea what my dad gets.

My only complaint is that you get a sandwich with chips or dessert, not both- even on the deluxe plan. It isn't that big of a deal though.

It's kind of like a Thanksgiving meal on a sandwich - turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce. It is sooooooo good!

Love EOS:lovestruc:lovestruc. Wish we had one of these at home. I think I would eat there all of the time. If you are going to visit DTD, Its worth checking out. Its the best CS meal I have had at WDW. Way better than anything i have eaten inside the parks - well I did like starring rolls cafe in HS but not as much as EOS.

I love the tuna salad there. It is huge and I really feel like I have had a full meal after that. So fresh as well. :thumbsup2 We make several calls on EoS in a trip for their food. :thumbsup2

Love it!!! I didn't love the holiday sandwich as much as I was hoping to. My favorite is the BLT, then the tuna melt, then the tuna! Dh has tried something new each time and never been disappointed. My oldest loves the Caprese. Youngest dd aka "Four bites and I am full thank you very much!" enjoys a few bites of my tuna, and a container of fresh fruit.

we were there last week and ate 3 times. LOVE IT.
DH likes the Original, I like the Club and kids get the "cannonballs"
Its an awesome and BUSY place.

How does the menu work?

I am sending my mom over to pick up sandwiches for our group so I was wondering on specifics. We are not on any dining plan.

1. Does the sandwich include chips or a side? Or are those ordered ala carte?

2. Many people have mentioned other soups besides the Tomato which is the only one I see on the menu? Are the others seasonal or change daily?

3. Will our order pack neatly in a to-go sack for easy carrying?

4. Do they sell soda/water with screw on caps (again for easy carrying)?

5. Are the sandwiches big enough to share? (maybe compare with subway as I am familiar with their 6 inches and footlongs)

Thank you,
Kimberly

1. Those items cost extra.

2. Besides the Tomato Soup they also offer a Potato & Bacon or a Brocoli & Cheese Soup, however they are roated each day.

3. They will put everything in a to go bag.

4. Yes they sell various drinks like soda, water, beer and etc in bottles.

5. I wouldn't say they are big enough to share and nothing like the size of Subway.

1) Nope. Everything is is a la carte

2) They usually have three different soups.

3) Maybe, it depends on how many people are in your party, how your mom has to travel and what you order. I think it will all be pretty cold by the time it gets back to a resort regardless how she plans to travel.

4) yep

5) It depends on how you eat. I don't think I would try to share one unless you both have additional sides like, soup, chips and potato salad.
