Anyone drive a 2006 TSX or 2006 Jetta?

Hi all,

I have test drives scheduled for both cars and I've been reading up on consumer guide about each vehicle. The jetta would cost me about 80 dollars less a month. Two of the most important things to me are safety and fuel economy and both are about the same. I won't really know which I like more until I test drive and find out the insurance costs but I thought I'd get some more reviews on the cars. Thanks!

I test drove both last month (it was a Jetta GLI version). I loved them both. I preferred the turbo engine in the Jetta, but the insurance was significantly lower for the TSX. I still haven't made a purchase! For me, it would probably come down to money. Whoever offered ME the lowest price would get my business, since I really like both vehicles. Good luck!

Thanks! Yeah, I need to check up on the insurance for each because like any other cost of living item in NJ, it's pretty high. I have a feeling this is going to be a long process. Thanks for the help.

doesn't the jetta recommend premium gas? I know it used to, so that is something you may want to look into, because as I understand it you really want to go with what is recommended here (most cars I've owned have recommended regular unleaded).
