Anyone done the new Fantasmic package?

I've heard some mixed reviews on the view in these seats? Anyone care to say how good of a view they had? We're considering doing this, but I want to make sure for the price were actually able to see F! good!

Yes, check in early. We got there to check in before the time we were told to check in and others had already gotten there and taken the first row..so early early early.
We were in the second row and there is no stagger and the people in front were taller than me, so the hostess let my friend and I stand at the very back of the section and it was just fine. You can see the fireworks from there, but IMO you miss alot, so the next night we stood forever by the castle to watch Wishes and it was worth every sore body part.

That's what I thought too, but we had riverside seating in Sept of 07 and they had the buffet set up..no box. It was the same stuff that you'd find in the box: choc covered strawberries, krispie treats, assorted cookies (love that raspberyy filled one), but we could take as much as we'd like and the hostesses brought us whatever we wanted to drink. Our seats didn't have a great view, so for the show we stood at the back of the area and saw great. I'd do it again just for the two of us, but not a large group.

Nope, not confused. We've done riverside seating about 5 times and every time it was a buffet. Granted, it's been over a year since we did it so I don't know when they switched over to the box.

I do know that the description for the riverside seating has always said a box, but we've always gotten buffet.

not sure when you guys went but it has been a box since nov. of 06 so everyone considering doing this needs to know the updated info...

ive done both riverside and gallery...the reason I mostly do this is not because of all the treats they give although it is a nice perk...I go because Im a HUGE F! nut...since the onstart of F! they have changed the choreography 3 times and I have a video for each time they have changed it...including the very first performance ever....I have the CD and know Mickeys part by heart as well as the whole song I love sitting at the riverside because you can see what goes on behind the scenes alot better than when you sit in front or when the gallery was having it....I personally dont think its optimal seating because your kind of to the side...you could go stake out seats below for just as good a view but its perfect for me...it is worth doing...the snacks are really good

My mom's in an ECV - would that affect the seating we can get (regardless of when we checked in?)

you know im not sure because you cant take the ecv cart up there....can she walk? if so you might just have to park it and go up to your seats

We have only done the balcony viewing with the buffet. I am so sad that it's not available anymore! I have a question about the riverside seating... I have heard that you feel some of the water spray. Is that correct? Thank you!

I stand corrected. We went in 06, not 07..wishful thinking I guess. It was buffet then. My friend went after that and it was a box. Also, she had a HUGE mix up with the tickets..they had somehow sold her the tickets for the same day the PREVIOUS year..who would have thought a computer could do that. It took forever to fix..I think they gave some sort of perks because of it, but the message is..pick up your tickets early so if there's a problem you have time to fix it.

yes you do feel some of the spray, you also feel the heat of the fire

this is why I say you experience the show more than just watch it when you do riverside seating

i didnt feel any of it...doesnt mean you dont as the previous poster indicated...I was up in the front row to the left of the seating and didnt get anything...I feel it really well when I sit dead center at ROA.....
