Anyone done the dinner with Shamu? What are the trainers like?

We're doing it in November (dh, dd 8 and ds 6), but I'd love to hear about it! It really does sound cool... I've even convinced 2 friends to do it so I hope it's fun! I really want a trainer to eat with us!

As far as I know the trainers don't eat with you. When we were there the trainers were on the platforms in the water. They're very good. They really talk about a lot, use some humor and are great with young kids. After the regular "show" was done they said they'd be around for awhile to take questions. When we left half an hour later there was still a huge group of kids around the trainer and he was talking to them. Didn't seem to mind at all.

Ditto to what monarchsfan posted.... the trainers are on the other side of the tank talking to you during the show. We did have one that was near the exit when we were leaving and we could ask a few questions and took a photo. But no, they don't come to the tables and/or eat with you.................P
