Anyone done the college program and still graduated in 4 years?

I did the College Program in Spring 2013 will be graduating within 4 years of my starting college (May 2015). Granted, I've had to take summer courses to make up for my time on the program and transferring universities. (I also entered my freshman year of college with 6 college credits earned during high school.) I took my sophomore year spring semester off to do the program - my school didn't offer credit for it. I also know other people - three of my roommates and some coworkers - who are able to still graduate within four years. I'm sure it helps if your school offers credit for the program. One of my roommates even got a full 12 credits from her school for the internship, providing that she wrote journal entries and a long paper at the end.

My daughter did the Spring '13 program and extended twice so she was there three weeks short of a full year. She missed two semesters of school and by taking online classes last summer while in the program (and taking four online classes this summer while working at Disney as a seasonal cast member) she will graduate in December. So four and a half years for her but not bad since she did miss two semesters. She will have one class to take this Fall at school. She attends Michigan State University.

My DD graduated in 4 years. Her school gave her 6 credits for doing the CP. She took a class during the summer two times to make up the shortage for that one semester.

You can always try to get credits from doing the disney college program or take online classes from your school

I might. I came into college with 15 credit hours and took a couple online classes during my CP, so I should graduate on time in 4 years. That is, of course, assuming I don't reapply and go back next spring (seriously considering it), which would set me back one semester regardless of whether or not I take online classes, since my degree is in education and I'll have to go back to student teach.

My son will be a junior this year. He went into school with 6 hours, took 6 hours the summer before his program, which was last fall, and took 6 hours online from his university while on the program...so, yes...he is on track to graduate in 4 years. He plans on applying again the semester he graduates.
