Hi everybody,

I'm looking into doing a tour or two when I go next August and was wondering if anyone here had done the 7 hour Backstage Magic Tour around WDW? Was it worth the mega money? Do I need to undertake a training programme before I attempt this 7 hour feat?

If you've done the tour, what did you think?
Thanks in advance,

Hi, I did the tour in 03, and loved seeing "backstage" you get asked a few Disney triva questions as you go along, and I was the only person who knew all the answers. :teeth: Most of the people on the tour really did not know much about Disney, and I think that they enjoyed it more than me. You need to be able to except that you will see "how the magic is made" some people do not want to know, thats up to you. You are driven around to the parks by coach, and they have water on board, we had a great lunch in MGM, and ended up the tour by watching the MK parade. Just don't forget to take you photo ID (passport or drivers), if you do you will not be on the tour! (I did, luckly I had my DLRP ID on me).

We did it September and loved it! We can't recommend it highly enough :thumbsup2

We thought it was worth every penny :)

You don't need to be mega fit as a lot of it is done by coach transfers as it is not just based in one park. You start at Epcot, visit MGM, some back stage buildings in the maintenance areas, Magic Kingdom in time for the afternoon parade and then the coach drops you back at Epcot at the end of the day. Lunch is at Mama Melrose in MGM and is served family style and it was so yummy! :cheer2:

Any questions please ask!!

Claire - I haven't done it. Do you have an annual pass? Just wanted to let you know you could get a discount for this tour if you do :thumbsup2
