Anyone done the 5pm HDDR than MNSSHP?

We've decided to take a few days out of our WDW and rent a car to go see MIL. So I'm trying to rearrange our days a bit. It's not really taking to much time away from us as we had a couple "rest" days planned.
So I was thinking of doing MNSSHP on 10/10 but that is the ONLY night I can get HDDR. Has anyone done HDDR and then headed to MNSSHP? Or should I just keep it on our scheduled day? TIA

I would not want to do the MSSHP after the HDDR. It would be too much in one night for me. Also, both are pretty expensive.
With your HDDR tickets you can get into the MK at 4 PM. You would not be out of the HDDR until after 7 and then you would have to get to the MK.
I just think that is a waste of party time.
I would do them on 2 different nights

I agree. I wouldn't want to get to the party that late.

I agree with pp; I wouldn't do MNSSHP and HDDR in the same night. If I do a special event at MK, I like to get there as early as I can, which is anytime after 4pm. When I do HDDR at 5pm, I'm ready to head back to the hotel after the show. I'd keep trying to see if an ADR opens up for HDDR.
